You have a 2.4 blower? Want a dyno proven 50 Hp bolt on? I’m going to be posting this FAS Billet Blower inlet plate for sale. You can’t buy one to self install any longer, this one has had its bores corrected already by me and is ready to bolt on. They sell for $1000 plus installation fees and shipping. Their not hard to do with the right instructions and technique. I’m going to be posting it for $950, any interest let me know you can have first dibs on it. On the dyno chart the upper 2 pulls are with the plate and others before the plate, this on 93 with a 2.85 Litens pulley M6 4th gear pulls. Makes 17.75-18 psi of boost with a 2.85 pulley in good air on a good blower through stock heads and exhaust manifolds.

So the new differential is in and it is a real treat. Got two passes in today before an unfortunate event. Friends (scat pack in both vids) brother hit a deer at the top end doing 150 on a bike. Deer was red mist and friend’s brother is in Shock Trauma at Baltimore Annapolis. Big prayer time 🙏. After that didnt feel like racing.

Sorry to hear. When I’m out on the bike in early evening deer are always in the back of my mind. Prayers for your buddy.

2/3rds of a tank. New 3.09 in the rear. 5 gallons of 104.

No data as the laptop went flying and disconnected. Second run, data and the 60’ was money!

Everything looks good in the logs, the one log I was able to get it didn't log fuel pressure but since the injector duty cycle did not shoot through the roof I know it was just the PID not logging. HP Tuners, love to hate it!

That combined with the cradle lockout kit is violent. Like it puts me in my ass on the 1-2 shift. I did notice that I'm entering sixth gear as I'm crossing the line, is this normal? I changed the gear ratio with HP Tuners and then changed the tire size with the tazer so hopefully everything is accurate.

It makes 1.4 60's easy, on the first pass I didn't cut a good 60' because I for sure spun I felt it, it was so nutty it sent my laptop flying. I also for sure need to do some suspension upgrades. Shocks and axles are next... @16GoManGoHC2 is sending me his axles and then I'm trying to source a good set of gently used stock shock takeoffs from a hellcat.

on the 305 you will hit 6th right at the stripe, with 315's it's right after the stripe.

that's what worries me about going back to 305 is inconsistence & traction problems that I don't have with 315's.

So on the 3.09 you shift to 6th on a 305/45 R17 tire? Seems that wouldn't be ideal? On my 2.62 car I cross about 5500RPM in 5th.

I’m a newb when it comes to this. After evaluating the second pass and the data I will say this. Compared to my 2.62 it flies in the 60’, this however might not be a good test as who knows when my diff was dying. 🤷🏻‍♂️ However from the second launch it just felt better when it hooked. In regards to shifting at the line that may be also me because I like to hold it for at least two car length past the boards. Its all in testing. Also isnt sixth the 1:1 gear?

My buddy just swapped to 3.09 against my advice. He is shifting to 6th just before the stripe with a 28" tall tire.
I told him not to as he gets similar 60' times as I do so he doesn't need the help.
Yes the 60' improved but that's it. Even the 60' wasn't a drastic difference.
The issue he has now is the car doesn't always hook as he goes mostly for test and tune nights instead of during events when the track is better.

I would think you'd want to avoid an extra shift if you can. If it is indeed shifting before the stripe I'd consider stretching out the RPMs if possible to avoid it.

So today I went to the track just to have some fun. Didn't go with skinnies on the front. In fact I sold them to a good guy, first responder and I am off the RaceStar bandwagon, they work wonderfully, just tired of the shank style lug nuts. Setting the stage. 3/4 tank of gas, full 20" tire in the front, bang off gears and yet I set new personal bests!
1636335845012.png
Best 60' 1.42, best 1/4 9.84... Without even a proper setup. Was kind of kicking myself in the ass for selling the skinnies and not having a lighter car. Nothing I can do about that, but I had fun. I also sent a Tesla into the shadow zone, someone said they were fast, not buying it... 🤷‍♂️

Have the 360 footage coming soon, till then enjoy these bomb ass photos from a great photographer. My car is sexy...

@Speedy! thank you! 3.09 gears do that, feel like cheating, lol... I'm having problems with the trans though. It is banging off rev limiters in random spots. Can't tell if wheel slip or I'm not giving it enough line pressure. All logs attached. I was looking at the tune that was written and it seemed like it was corrupted. So then I re-wrote it to where it was on the MHSH event and it was still banging. Considering it is great air, she's eating maybe I need to command the shifts earler. Test N' Tune, Test N' Tune!

So I finally got caught up on your thread . Its nice to see you are chipping away at your times/ speeds . Keep up the good works it's definitely working .
I wouldn't run 3.09's with a 28 inch tall tire ( I tried it already ) the 2.62 works best with that size tire . Remember I was getting consistent 1.35 sixty foots with a 2.62 and the 305 street R's when the prep was good . Also I wouldn't rev a factory engine past 6500 rpms . That my opinion.
Also why did you go with solid engine mounts?
