Here is some interesting food for thought...if you pay for Sirius XM Guardian services, as I do...for vehicle theft location services, it is rendered useless if your Navigation is malfunctioning in your Uconnect. Or even worse, if a thief simply pulls fuse 37, then theft location services no longer function. All you get is a message for unable to locate vehicle.

Just got word that the replacement uconnect has arrived at the dealer...21 days later....fingers crossed!

Well that didnt go as planned..on the way to the dealer, hit in the rear and knocked into another car, likely a total loss....sad days.

Mine’s been in the lake or making off-road excursions for about a year now . It’s a 2015 that’s never had an update so I’ve been thinking of getting the dealer to do do an update hoping for best .

Just waiting patiently for the insurance companies...the worst part of owning a high performance, expensive, car is that the insurance want to charge you a premium price to cover it, but then when something happens...its a Dodge Neon in value.

It just keeps getting better..the insurance for the other vehicle is valid and enforce at the time of the accident..but they are underinsured....so nothing has happened yet in regards to fixing my vehicle...if it is even repairable.

Yes I had this same issue with my 2018 Challenger Garmin had me in Lake O. Dealer told me a update would fix it. Four weeks later the flash drive with update arrived but didn't fix the problem. Dealer told me I needed a new unit and they would order one. Another 5 weeks and the replacement unit arrived. By that time I had traded my 2018 in on a 2020 Scat Pack.

The Garmin units are sub standard junk and the cost to buy a new one is over $3000. Android Car Play is so much superior but doesn't play on the 8.4" Garmin screen. Chrysler needs to address this issue but is busy ........................ ?

My 2017 Charger Hellcat has had the same problem for some time. I tried the Uconnect procedure for recalibration and it did nothing to fix the Nav location issue. While I don't use the built-in Nav very often, what I do use is the Clock. And the auto-setting for the Clock was showing the wrong time, which is somehow linked to the GPS. Yes, you can manually set the clock, but while my car was in the dealership for the V86 recall, I told them about this issue. Looks like a replacement head unit for me too is needed. I go back next week to get that installed.

The new replacement is far better than than original OE. Button pushes are instant, Nav routes are super fast. My OE unit must have had issues since new.

Tried the navigation in the Challenger today and it is about 40 miles off. Teresa said she tried it the other day and something wasn't right but I guess she didn't care to tell me. I guess I will be getting with the dealership on it. It is an '18 also

The Nav in my Ram pickup is off at most 10', so Dodge does know how to make them apparently.

Still getting the run around from Dodge & Uconnect on why there is a 'manditory' update for my system ('18 Durango). No one will tell me why/what's changing only that 'it's to make things better', yet I have no issues or complaints with how it works now ! It's not something being pushed out in general and I'm pissed to the point of really having to think hard about getting another vehicle with this system installed. Really enlightening that they can kill all media functions, Nav & most of the Bluetooth/phone stuff to punish me for not complying and allowing the update to apply :mad:

I paid for those features and they have zero right to just turn them off - gotta wonder just what else they can kill OTA like that - I'm guessing everything including the ability to start the car & drive off !!

Fuckers !
