So on my never ending quest to shed more weight I stumbled upon these titanium bead lock bolts for my weld Ventura 17x10 single bead lock rims. There very expensive, $356 for two wheels. Just wondering if any one else has bought these? 48 steel bolts (24 per rim) weight in at 1.8 pounds. The titanium bolts are about half the weight.

I don’t doubt that million dollar Pro Stock teams that live and die by thousandths of a second would throw $5k at bead locking half a dozen sets of double ring wheels. For us mortals there’s lots more bang for the buck to be found elsewhere.

Be careful about weight reduction no matter the cost...

We looked at the idea of offering titanium hardware for the hat/rotor interface for our rotors...

But the cost of the hardware for the little weight (inertia) saved just didn't make sense.

However, in your case, if it makes you happy, there's no denying that every little bit helps. If the cost doesn't bother you, more power to you!

Since I'm fat, I usually just add weight. Great excuse when you lose.
Last event I put 100 lbs of rocks in the trunk.

2 pounds for 400 bucks?

I can't justify that. Just take a laxitive before you go to the track.
