I wasn't sure what section to put this. Hopefully Im not too far off

Those who have done the 3.09 diff swap, what type of gains did you see on your 60' times?

I recently had mine swapped, but havent had a chance to get to the track yet. Just wondering what kind of improvements I should be looking for

I also had some track talk in the FAST thread in drag racing.

I don't have apples to apples being the weather was worse the first time out with them but I did run .05 faster in 900ish worse DA. For my car I would say 1-1.5 tenths faster. Also picked up a mph

Driving the car I don't notice the gear change

Surprised. I heard the perf gain in the 1/4 was actually negligible but the around town driving feel was definitely snappier.

My Hellcat Charger was the 1st one to have 309 gears installed, a surprise gift from my husband.
It was during 2015 when I was out T&T R&D with my husband "Top Cat" and Josh at HHP.
It was in the early testing time when my ETs were getting below the 10.6s.

My HC Charger gained 2 tenths in my 60ft.
309 gears are my most favorite mod and pairs well with the best "Peace of mind mod"
The Per4mance Development brace.

Linda :)

Im anxious to get to the track anyway, but now Im really anxious

It will depend on your hp level, on stock boost I got about .1 in the 1/4.
On higher boost maybe a little better & at some point with real high boost the 2.62 is better in most cases.

So if your over 1000 to the tire 2.62 is better for overall ET? Only downside is you can't run 315s on the 2.62 from what most say.

Yeah, the real fast ( high boost hp ) cars, do the 15" conversion
