If you know somebody thinking about turbos… here’s something to check out. I bought the twin turbo setup that Jim Golden had on his 7 second Redeye. We decided to go a slightly different direction and progress from currently running ethanol and go to methanol once we start to get dialed in. We will be the first twin turbo Hellcat doing that with the new LME intercooler intake using dual injectors. So…. We will not be using the air to air intercooler. This setup was being used with a Hogan intake with a single 4” intake tube from the intercooler. This combination is 3000hp capable. Jim still has the intake as we made the decision to do something different before he shipped it to me. We talked about what to do and he said if somebody is interested to go ahead and sell it. So…. This is basically the cold side of a twin turbo system that was custom designed for a Challenger. The intercooler attaches to the frame rails with the steel impact bar removed. It locates the turbos behind the bumper on each side. They bolt right up using V-bands. What I will sell is the intercooler and intake pipe with blow off valve. Also included is a Nick Williams 108mm throttle body. Jim will sell the intake separately. This intercooler was just short of $3000. The throttle body is around $1000 new. I generally sell my stuff for around half of what one can buy it for new. So… $2000 and you can get started on kicking ass in that Heavyweight class…. 👊. I’m going to include some pictures of it on Jim’s car to give you a idea if what you’re looking at. 688B7E3D-448A-4A1C-9626-9B05B01116DA.jpeg 8695957B-AB56-485E-9480-01EB964C8FC2.jpeg B51AD656-1DC7-4547-945C-F5875D511902.jpeg AA539835-C60B-4282-87F7-CBC9FC0A6B6F.jpeg B1760170-1A7A-4BA9-A5A0-76919F092CA2.jpeg 4923EFF6-C8B6-4B1B-9CEE-49FDE9DF2A9F.jpeg 29243F4A-8112-4DB9-9309-7171225DCF1D.jpeg 5052C960-2657-4B5C-8DBB-5CAB00C2D641.jpeg

Why you getting rid of this setup?? This is the ticket right here. Remote turbos located under the car are dumb

You’re right that it is a ticket. You missed what I’m doing now on the build thread. The 76mm turbos will now reside behind the headlight intakes and using the new dual injector LME intake. 04FD9D88-0735-4AA5-96AF-C3ADCA63F670.jpeg 01278DB0-96F1-40E4-9882-DC250A024BAC.jpeg

I am impressed!!! The he!! with D170 and battery cars. This is the answer, automotive greatness, Dodge could not build enough of these cars, Brampton assembly would be working 7 days a week!

It’s the badonka cooler 😳 It takes a big one to cool the boost it takes to make 3000hp. This thing was custom made and like everything else on that car, no expense was spared. I put this out there so somebody who might be considering a serious TT build and just getting started could save some money. Every but helps

Not necessary with the Methanol but we are going to start with ethanol and get everything working to a point where we’re ready for the switch. The intercooler is good to 2500 per LME. I don’t want to push beyond that with the OE block, so until (if) Dart gets it together and actually produces something substantially stronger, we are going to keep it conservative. The billet option isn’t in the budget. Still a lot to learn from people who are on top of this stuff. The intercooler in that intake is removable so at some point if it’s determined to be a limiting factor there’s that option.

What is the billet block like $14k or so? Ur referring to the Noonan one?

Yes. The Noonan block is only available through Demon Perf/TKM. In order to get one you also have to have them build the engine for you. You can’t just purchase the bare block and do it yourself. I think the block is around $15k. Add the retail cost of the internals and labor for the package and well…. 🤯
