Linder,
They either have under their noses at my home, and or they barge into my house and claim a well fair check to see if I am ok . They have never left here with out me. They take me to the hospital for 3 to 7 days for observations. This has been going on for 6 months at sum times twice a week. I am going to have to get an injunction or move back to Tenn. My neighbors are pissed having cop and meat wagons show up at all hours of the night. Lights a flashing. They just come right in my houese going what is wrong with you?? Hey jack off I am sound asleep in bed what the hell you doing in my house. Oh, cant tell me whom the prez is,,, don't care, unresponsive in my living room. They cart me off. Again, and again. I owe the ambulance over $22,ooo for all the trans ports.
Reasoning for is some one in the million dollar hood is concernad for your welfare. So they hit 911 and give them an address. That'ts it. All it takes. Off you go. For no reason. I waz working on the H/C at 2 am cause it is hot during the day. On my back measuring the gaskets on the catys with the car running for expansion reasonings. They wrote me up as attempting suiscide. Pulled guns on me, strapped me down, drug tested beyound my consent. Told me I was having a drug over dose and hit me with a shot of NARCAN,,, wicked stuff. Makes you tell all except I am amune to it and I was not oding on drugs. This past 3 months has been a nightmare.
My personnel care physician good friend C8 owner thanks Brian, gets all these reports in and is almost embarrased to know me. I stopped and had blood drawn at his office and said run a drug screen. This has been a complete dee bock able. I may party at times but at home.

You are easy to spot you usually wear pretty similar clothing

Up and down luck on the commute home. Stop for a bite to eat. Got back in the truck started heading down the road and I started sweating. Noticed the vents weren’t blowing any air warm or cold. Looked at the out side temp and it was 90. Great. So windows down for the next 30 minutes and then the ac starting working. At least it was only for 30 minutes.
We had fun this weekend. I’d encourage more of you to make it out. Everyone was super welcoming. We joined a few different groups every night hanging out.
Edit- Amanda doesn’t know it yet but she will be trying for fastest female next year 😂

Some rain in the morning but started running at 12. Sun popped out around 10 and it was hot as hell, muggy. After that it was cloudy all day with a slight breeze. The stands are covered so either way you are in the shade. We were in the stands all day watching the racing. Walked around a lot yesterday and before they started running so sat in the stands for 6 hours. Watched the General Lee jump before leaving. Looks like Greg will win Grand Champion in his Jeep for the 2nd year

I have got to practice more on the pro tree.
I downloaded the 99 cent JEGS app on my phone to practice. I don’t think it’s exact and I think it makes you wait to long to release compared to real world but it at least gets your mind used to the motion and what’s going on. It’s also only 99 cents so o well.
Jeggs perfect start.

I couldn't agree more here. I was very surprised more folks from this forum don't come out to events. Our old forum from back when I had my R/T would be a deserted waste land during Challengerfest when a couple hundred people just from the forum would show up. Life's short and there's always an excuse to stay home.

I had a blast and had a fun, although very long tiring race day at Moparty competing in the Hellcat, Redeye, Demon class. I think I had the fastest car in that class and due to Holley's tech enforcing NHRA rules I couldn't dial lower than 10.00 so that's what I put on the car. First round I was against an 11.55 dial and it's so weird to sit and watch a competitor race away from you for 1.5 seconds before you get the lights. It was a .500 Pro Tree (I think) which I don't do often so my RT was .271 but as I ran the guy down I got worried I'd break out so I chopped the throttle when I got beside him. Ran a 10.124 at 127.87MPH to take the win light.

Second round was about 4 hours later and under the lights of Beech Bend. This round was against a buddy of mine who's a pretty good racer. His dial was 10.50 so a bit more tricky since ours were so close. It was an awesome race, but he got me on the tree and had his car dialed. He had a .228 RT and ran a 10.51 131.36 to my .337 RT and 10.05 at 138.74.

First outings on E85 and the car LOVED it. I need to check the DA but I removed zero weight since I was shooting for consistent 10.00 runs. I think the DA averaged around +2500 or so and I ran 10.067, 10.085, 9.991, and 10.052 all around 139MPH on a pretty conservative tuneup.

What a ton of fun and can't wait till next year. Was great to hang out with @jonx96 and the Mrs as well as @vortecd for a bit. She should def compete in ChallengerFest Fastest Female, it was a $600 payout!

Ive already mapped out my 2022 and this is on the list. Looks like a hell of a fun party. Missed the opportunity as well to have OST evaluate the tune. They were moving…

I have never done business with Mike but I talked to him in the lanes and he was awesome to talk with.
Heck even hung out with AAD guys a bit at the hotel and talked with them awhile at Moparty. They had the whole company there but 1 guy.
Even if you guys aren’t big on racing. Do challengerfest. It is more laid back than moparty. They also walked some of the new folks over how the tree worked and walked them on the track to show then how to stage and pre stage. I wish I knew this because Amanda has never made a pass and it would have been the best place for her to learn. I would have pulled some timing out of the the car to ease the launch and she would have been golden for a first pass.

Heck even when I overheated I had to have about 4 people standing around my car asking if I needed help with anything. When I headed back to the hotel working on it a few others even came around asking if I needed anything. I had the trailer loaded with tools ready to fix my stuff or help someone else if they needed anything. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one.

Yep, that's the character of Challengerfest....just a bunch of down to earth car folks hanging out, having fun, and willing to roll their sleeves up if needed to help someone out. That's why I love it and keep putting it on.

We raised over $10,000 for the racing4vets charity as well at the auction!
