One thing for sure in life is no matter how smart a car is you just can’t fix stupid and stupid that is being passengers in a self driving vehicle.
Two men died Saturday after the vehicle hit a tree north of Houston
Two men died after a Tesla vehicle that authorities believe was operating without anyone in the driver’s seat crashed into a tree Saturday night north of Houston.

One of the men was in the front passenger’s seat and the other was in the back seat of the Tesla, which was traveling at high speed along a curve before it hit a tree around 11:25 p.m. local time, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said in an interview.

Although they clearly tell you that someone has to be in the driver’s seat. The fact that people actually trust this enough to jump into the back seat tells me they are idiots to begin with.

Burns for 4 hours after a wreak, FD had to repeatedly call Tesla trying to get info on how to snuff it. Wonder how much pollution a 4 hour burning Lion battery puts in the air and if any of the ppl on scene or even passing by were injured and just don't know it yet.

Maybe next time call an Uber and leave your ride at the parking lot of the bar.. so what do they do set the Tesla on cruise control at like 85 and just pass out? Unfortunate but dumb.. wouldn’t want my last moment of my life waking up from a drunk nap for a mere fraction of a second to get crunched into a tree and most likely perish instantly.
