I'm thinking that was an act. They had it staged and fixed the dyno to get that number.

Watching the numbers, it's clear that there is manipulation happening at the very end.

I believe the data in white was added to the original video at some point. One could present any value at any increasing rate that suits the video. I would feel more comfortable believing the data if it had the actual Dyno cell instrumentation readings and live variables on a monitor showing the actual test. That is probably the actual test being administered but again hard to believe the data in white Is paired with live Dyno test. Regardless nice video and the audio is pretty easy on the ears if in fact that is the audio that goes with the original test.

My point was the numbers were fake/manipulated to “ hit 840” exactly at 6400. The sound was glorious. Think we can all agree there.

Ironically, 840 is very likely low in the real world for that car on the race tune. Demonology got ~ 902hp running a mix of 93 and Boostane back in 2018 with the car barely broken in (and unmodified). Sunoco 109 was upper 800s.

Using the weight of 4200lbs (which i think is light even for the hero car from Dodge) the 140mph suggest 889whp and the 9.65 et suggest 923whp.

But the real magic in a drag car is the suspension setup. And Dodge did their homework on that.
Even the much less talked about 1320 Challenger runs mid 11s at about 4000lbs. That works out to almost 500whp!

Not sure why he was upset. Bone Stock 900 vs modified 1000? It's not that big of a deal to mod any car to whatever HP you want, post-factory delivery is it?

It didn’t make 900 let alone 1000, it Put down 757 Hp and 700 tq to the tire STD correction factor, which is about right on HO mode with race gas, TQ was low. My Hellcat did 855 on 93 same dyno earlier in worse air. Something was up with it.
