Yeah, I saw a YT video about a similar situation with one of those Tesla sports cars they made a few years ago. The go for big bucks and this guy bought one and then found out the battery was bad, and then found out he can't get a replacement for it. I can see this situation being repeated over and over for years to come.

Well I can’t confirm or deny that but if you’re gonna buy an EV that’s no longer in production with 60,000 already on it you’re asking for trouble

The batteries should be standardized to lower costs and raise availability. I'm sure that it's available in the aftermarket.

Standardized would make too much sense but then again I’m sure each manufacturer has their own proprietary design so they’d never agree on what’s best.

Build a ev for a couple of years then go to new design, discontinue battery and bingo, you have to buy a new car
and or charge so much for the battery that you will buy a new car

I thought you had to support a car for so many years after production ends?

Once again, congress is lacking behind problems. I don't even see how Democrats can get behind this shit anymore. Speaking as a former dummycrat myself
