Finally a Charger Hellcat 1:18 scale model, but they do the wrong wheels and possibly the least popular, not iconic colors

Red and Black, two rarely used colors on Charger Hellcats and not any of the exciting Dodge vibrant colors, and the generic five-spoke wheels, not the iconic brass monkeys used the first four model years from 2015-2018 and carried forward as an option for another year iirc.

All this time waiting for a 1:18 scale model and that's what we get? I wish AutoArt or some other top tier company would put out a Charger Hellcat. :\

Black has been the most popular color every year I believe. Octane, TorRed, and Redline combined are probably even more popular so those 2 choices make total sense to me....

On the other hand, it would be nice to have some more variety.

Wow, I'm genuinely surprised black is the most sold Charger Hellcat color. In five years, I can recall seeing one, and that's out of somewhere close to 50 Hellcat Chargers I've seen in that time.

Thanks. So they did a B5 Blue one but it's the Daytona with that ugly front end. Kinda bummed they are making three and none of them is really a proper Charger Hellcat with the brass monkey rims. I'd even settle for the black one if it had the wheel design from 2015-2018.

Anyone notice in image 5 the hellcat heads are cocked way up. Noticeably up, like looking at the sky up haha..

Never liked raisin bran...or raisins in general. They do not belong in cookies at all!

Looks good for a model. You could always paint the wheels to the color you like. Which definitely would not be Brass Monkey for me....but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream....so you have a choice.

Unfortunate that these are resin, no opening doors and more fragile than diecast. Agree with the disappointing wheel choice, any of the optional wheels look nicer...

Having a minimal amount of insight into the production of this kind of stuff, they typically want to make a color they can actually sell 1000 or more of, with minimal production numbers in the 250-500 range. At the price point of ~150 can you really sell 500+ b5 blue hellcat chargers? Maybe, but it'd take a while imo.

That being said, if someone wants to buy the other 499 I'm in!

I replaced them with replicas anyway... same design just gloss black. Wasn’t a fan of the matte finish.. the gloss black matches the pitch black perfect. The matte finish looked a bit off.

I also don't think the cat heads are on exactly right.... and at 150 bucks they can keep it.

I think the idea is it is low profile. Blends in. I have been fortunate that there are lots of regular Chargers around here that are black, so there is always plausible deniability.
