Got to work on Go Man Go's fuel system this week. I had noticed the fuel pump duty cycle maxing out and fuel pressure dropping in upper RPMs so I knew the fuel system was at its limits. This occurred a bit on the Hellcat motor, but not near as much as it does now with the Redeye motor in the car.

Reminder I have the 2.72 Hellraiser pulley and run 93 octane. I see about 16.5psi of boost in warm air and 17.5 in good air like 50 degrees or better and have a Redeye engine in the car. Super easy install and is 99% plug and play as advertised. The 1% is having to move the fuel sending unit over from the original fuel bucket to the dual pump hat. Two wires easy peasy.

Im glad you upgraded.
This system will handle all you gasoline needs .
E85 that's a whole different can or worms .

I'm gonna try to start playing with some E85 mixes and see how that does. E85 takes 30% more I'm told, and I've got some overhead now. If I can mix in 3-4 gallons of E85 to get my 93 up to 100 octane with a flex setup that'd be pretty cool.

Why didn’t you just go triple pump so you are solid on whatever you want to do?

That'd be way overkill and complexity for what I need. This was super easy and gives me plenty of overhead for my goals.

I'll prob run out of injector if I try full E85. They're ID1000 but I'm hoping enough to experiment with flex E40-E50. Injectors were at 50% DC at full tilt in my last log.

the injector is where you might run short.
You could probably squeeze it out of the pumps. Some guys just use a boost a pump to get the extra outta there.

Yea, would recommend FIC 1200cc for full E85.

You'll need injectors pretty quick once the summer blend mixes back in the pumps if you get that.

ID1300x or the FIC 1200's work. Once you go corn, it's hard to go back.....car is on "kill" 100% of the time.

You should look into the flex harness sateratuning released that would allow you to run whatever fuel you wanted and it adjusts timing "real time" right off the reading from the sensor from the rail. With my small pulley I still can't hammer it on 93, but I can still fill it if needed, but for your 2.72, it would be ideal.

I mixed the 110 and 93 1/2- 1/2. Injectors couldn't take it. Replaced 3 times. No moe till up grades.

Did not think I would like E85 100% of the time, but I am converted and love it.

Great hp, soot is gone from the tailpipes, can warm-up the car in the garage without messing up the garage doors and do not mind...actually like the smell of burn corn and easy to find in Atlanta. Cost is really cheap compared to 93 octane.

I liked the 110 mixed but the car didn't. Burnt clean, like you say, and to pull up to a traffic light. People in the know, have their winder down,,, start to smell and then they know. That is not stock sumtin. Very distinctive. Very clean.

Agreed, it has FAR more pros than cons. Race gas that's cheap and safe for O2 sensors. Only cons are having to change your oil a little more often and loss of gas mileage.

@Speedy! (Referenced from YT)

"Cold Start/flooded start" method:

  • Hold throttle all the way down, then push and hold the starter button. Car won't start, but will crank over.

I did this before I removed my S/C and the result was no pressure in the fuel rails. I thought this method only turned off the ignition, but it seems to relieve the fuel system pressure as well.
