Got a text early evening... C8 has arrived.

My wife was pretty excited last night... she picked up my phone after a text and danced around to room for a bit. I had no clue what the excitement was about until I checked the phone...




She is still so excited she hasn't even noticed it doesn't have the high wing... maybe she will never notice and I wont have to explain why it's not on.

The dealer has a few people who wanted to see the color in person so he asked if they could display it for a few days... thinking Friday.

GM offered a high wing option which was so popular the company that supplied them could not keep up with the demand. GM decided to remove them from orders right about the time ours was to be produced. They are going to be offering them in the future and I can grab it later date. I will show you a pic when I get back from errands to show the difference.

I just noticed that... no must be someone from the dealership. Its about an hour from where we live so we have not gone down to see it yet. Too busy doing other stuff.

She has new side rocker extensions and front splitter painted in carbon flash to match the rest. For some reason GM doesn't paint those parts and it stands out too much so she had these ordered a while back. She likes a more aggressive look but still classy at the same time. After the car gets broken in I will lower it a bit. The suspensions are adjustable so no need for new springs.
