Misfire under a light load while cruising

Just picked up my Redeye this afternoon out of state. On my way home I noticed it skipping under a light load while cruising between 55 and 75, this happening 100 plus miles away from the dealer. Check engine light hasn't come on yet and I don't have my scan tool on me. I've been wrenching for over 25 years and on my 6th modern Challenger. This feels like a single cylinder miss. Has anyone had a misfire issue on any Hellcat with low miules?

None that I'm aware of, are you sure its misfiring? A code should have been set if it was misfiring.

Update: Cold start this morning P0305 has been stored

How many miles on it?

cyl # 5 fouled plugs is my guess

Also number 5 is on the drivers side and probably the easiest one to check might try swapping coils and see if the misfire goes to the other , also inspect the coil boots for carbon tracking

That sounds more like it. I'm sure its a minor issue but I wouldn't rule out a bad tank of gas either, maybe try one more tank of a gas from a different pump and see if the issues is still there before taking it to the dealer.

Let me clarify, still on my way home with it.
I'll do what I need to do to get it home today, unless it gets worse. I'll post an update when the cause of the misfire is determined.

Understood, a misfire isnt going to do any damage to the car though unless you have something major going on with that cylinder in which case it would be covered by warranty anyway. I simply said rule out bad gas first because the dealer would likely just do the same to begin with.

Get that thing home call dealer tomorrow and have them pick it up fix it then deliver it

I dropped it off and the tech found both plugs for cylinder 5 to have no gap! I'm hoping this was a manufacturing mistake when the plugs were originally installed. I've never heard of this happening to any other Hellcat forum members. I've put roughly 100 miles on after picking it up and so far it's been running great now.

No gap. WTF

Assembly line carelessness? Dropped plugs on assembly and just put in. Or plugs were dropped in boxes on delivery and no one checked gap coming out of boxes and going in motor.
