And no, the Hellcat is staying. It's on my bucket list. I can easily afford it.

If you want one then do it. I kinda liked them back in the 70's but I was in elementary school

Not an all bad idea. My girlfriend's Turbo S is the fastest car we have, and the quickest in 0-60.

What gets me is:
Porsche claims 0-60 in 2.9 and 1/4 mile in 11.2 with a top speed of 187mph with 443 HP. I realize the weight is 3360. Could this be true? If so, the 2021 911 will have 640 HP. How fast will that sucker be?

Apparently, the '20 Turbo S is at 580 hp, does 0-60 in 2.8, and tops out at 205 mph, if that helps any.
And, yes, 911s are lighter than Challengers. Most anything except Class 8 tractors are.

It’s no surprise to anyone here. But the prices of these brandy new Porschezz are Big Bennys $$$$$$. Beautiful machines. But I can’t afford that. I’ll stick with hellcat #1 and hellcat #2. There’s only 1 real substitute for a hellcat. That’s another hellcat haha (or a demon).

Just do me one favor.. before you drop 130k on a 911. Just cross shop a barely used 2019 ZR1. Forget 0-60. I’m talking 0-100 in 6 seconds flat. Haha. Just saying.. if I had that money ZR1 ALL DAY! Boooyyahh hehe.

Huge Porsche fan and the new 911’s are incredible. Very fast for so ‘little’ HP. Please share if you get one! What kind of spec are you after?

I'm after similar performance as the Cat. Don't much care about anything else. I want 2WD cause I like my cars a little squirrely and I love the dark gray color. I don't like the spoke wheels they come with ( prefer black ). Getting back to the color; I had a black 928S back in the 80's and loved it. About a year after I got it, Porsche sent me a poster rolled up in a tube. When I opened it; there was a 3' by 5' backside picture of a black 911 Turbo slightly airborne with my last name on the license plate. I never got over that picture. I might get black.

So something like this? The Porsche Agate Gray is almost identical to the FCA Granite. DSCN2408.JPG

Thanks, but not quite yet. I'll wait until she has a few more fun cars. Then they'll automatically become mine, too, right?
Okay, I know it doesn't quite work that way, but I can dream.

Anyway, she now has two Agate Gray and two Granite ones. I see a pattern here.

Carrera S is not a Turbo or Turbo S despite them both being turbo cars now.

I would almost wait and see if they are going to do another Carrera T with bucket seats. Although the S has the bigger turbos/more power. The Carrera T might be my favorite 911 right now with the 911R slightly behind it (and mainly because those are still half a million dollars)
