But at least I learned a few things.


Here's the slips. You can sure see how much difference the trans tuning makes, well at least when you remember to put it in the right mode. 3MPH is a ton for a simple button press.

Third pass the Hellcat in the other lane hit his rev limiter and I thought it was me so I let off, realized it wasn't me, and got back on it. I was frustrated! Pulled right back to the staging lanes and ran the last pass, 9.93.

Car will run 9s on the 93 octane setup with the right track prep.

Glad my transmission performance settings will never reset with a simple battery disconnect - however they may degrade with age and the condition of my knees.

For some reason even with the 100 octane the differential between your 1/8 mph and 1/4 mph should be a little higher. Especially at lower das and the larger engine/supercharger. Maybe it is a super mild tune. Do you agree?

Oh, and favorite part of the video is that cowl hood Mustang getting gapped like a buck tooth hill billy on that first run.... lol That's gotta smart a little.

I think it's about right for the tune. You'll see some cars really back half because all the power comes in later. I'm a bit more conservative and progressive with what's in mine. This was a baby tune up....max of 16 deg of timing and 11.3 afr (.82ish) lambda as well. I'll work on that some as I get more comfortable.

So I can get the jack out from under the car.

Yeah....normally Go Man Go is one of the faster cars at our local track :) That Mustang had a turbo LOL

That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure I wasn't behind the times. Maybe it had "essential oils" or something on it :)

Wait, I just noticed, did that car in the third run pass the 1/8th at 25 MPH (!) and still pull a 149 at the quarter? Holy cow.

Well...results at the wood shed notwithstanding...it must be comforting to know...medical benefits for life...and that nice big government pension will serve you well at 61...on behalf of my Canadian relatives...thank you for your service
