Had the pleasure of watching a P51 Mustang and a F18 dance with each other at the St Pete Grand Prix.

I'm trying to think of how that could happen.....perhaps if the aircharge tables weren't scaled properly but I doubt Josh would make that mistake. Still a data log in both places is a good idea to know for sure.
Often it’s the fuel system that can’t keep up with the increased flow demand of low elevation negative da compared to high causing the motor to go lean. Data log and a shake down 1/8 mile pass to validate everything is good when taking a car that works at high altitude to significantly lower is highly advised.

I have heard of guys going from high elevation tune to sea level in cold weather without a retune & popping their motor, so be careful if ever going to sea level, especially if it's cold weather or negative DA.
What's the elevation in AZ. vs. TN. ?....both are fairly high elevation I presume.
Elevation 1472 at my present location and 596 at my piece of land in Clarksville TN.

I lived there for 9.5 (86/93) where serving with the 101st. We still have family there and I’ve been back 2 times this year already. As for the weather the snows not real bad and the cold is tolerable. My biggest concern is the humidity. I’ve lived in the low desert off and on since 94.

Anything near Nashville will be humid. I just remember the snow melting and being wet all the damn time, The Lt helped,,, alot. She was from Cali and was the 1st female Hugh ee coptor pilot. I got mad and left and when I got back she had transfered to Germany. Haven't been back. Early 80s.
