Conceptually yes, but I'm just barely 2 years into my new Power Wagon.

I would also need a minimum towing capacity, but there aren't any specs released yet, right?

I would rather see a na 426 at around 500hp. I don't need a super charged truck.

Me.
Been waiting since 2016 and came close to buying a Raptor twice.

Probably end up in a 19/20 Big Horn if i don't hear any news on the TRX soon.

I wish they would do a performance variant instead of off road.

Not for me - I would choose a Cummins over the TRX. For a truck I want durability and power, can't beat the Cummins with any other powerplant. I love my Hellcat, but for me it doesnt work in a truck.

Like me, you apparently need TWO trucks, you need this truck to do truck things in, and you need that truck to do other truck things in.

If I had the funds? Hells yea, I'd buy it. Just to blow my father's mind. He fully believes that the Raptor is gonna be the only performance truck ever, "worth owning." And he absolutely hates that I drive a Dodge. Lol

raptor is an off road truck lol, if they do come out with a trx it's still gonna get beat in the offroad segment but it will be faster than the raptor, different segments.

I'm not a brand loyal guy but Ford has been killing it for a while, up until the new gen was released both fca and gm were way behind in the truck market. ram has caught up to the f150 and is even better in certain areas, the new gen f150 should be released next year so we shall see what ram and gm do as far as updates go, the f150 is sort of the gold standard in the industry similar to how the 700+hp from the hellcat has become the gold standard in performance cars or the S class in the luxury car segment.

As far as the original question goes I would think about buying a trx, but I don't drive a pickup myself so probably not.

I'm pretty sure the Ram Rebel TRX is going to be going after the Ford Raptor. Granted they are going to have to do a hell of a job on the suspension to make it compete with the Raptor, but if they do it correctly, the TRX is going to be one hell of a truck.

The only way I get a Ram Rebel TRX is if I trade my 2012 Power Wagon and my 2016 Challenger Hellcat for one. In order to do this, Ram has to keep the towing capability to a decent number (better than the 8,000lb Raptor Crew Cab). If towing is close to my Power Wagon, I'm going to be damn tempted to do a two for one trade.

should be interesting to see the actual product, seeing as ford is going new gen for 2021/2022 we will see how the rebel trx and new raptor do in a head to head.
