170 absolutely allows a 2nd gear launch, just can't use the TB in 2nd.
My 9.29 at 147(ish) was also a 2nd gear launch on TNT prep (crap). I'm not gonna be a guinea pig, but these changes look promising. The rev limit deal is a big one in good DA.

Whatcha thinking of doing. Are you going for the updated powertrain calibration? I think I would if I had a Demon 170. Maybe after some people had the aftermarket Tuners doing their customers calibration Dodge thought good to know, why not! I like that idea.
After all the Demon170 was meant to be dragraced.

I'll give it a bit to bake to make sure there are positive results. I learned the hard way not to be the guinea pig when it comes to new cals.
I think a lot of these adjustments are based on Ron's feedback. He's probably the most experienced running one of these at the track and keeps excellent notes.
I chatted with mopar.com, they said the csn 69c is Jeep, I sent the jpg and he said it is uconnect, then he said it was a dealer code, then he ended the chat. Not happy.
