I've ran 305/35 555R on stock rim 16 HC Challenger for 3+ years, driving in FL rainstorms, 100+ mph many, many times. No problems whatsoever. Unbelievable difference compared to stock summer garbage Pirellis. View attachment 17474

Where'd you get that widening work done? And how much? I just had a bad experience with the Factory Replica F77 5 spokes I bought (same exact design as yours on my RE). I got the 20 x 11's. Brought them new to the powder coater. Fresh out of box, pulled'm out right in the shop (boxes were mint). He powder coats, then mounts and balances. One was bent or machined wrong on pad, right out of the box. I am thinking of going with the HR5's when available, but I might consider your application if reasonable. QUALITY, not color, is my concern. After market is junk. Did you sacrifice a pair of factory rims to do that?

Yes those are my original rears , he charged me like $350 per wheel, not cheap but beautiful work.
Balanced fine too. He was talking about retiring when he did mine so don't know if he is still working.
I think there is another place in Michigan that does this but can't recall the name.
Be aware that any widening goes to the inside so you will have to "massage" the wheel well so
they don't rub.

Since no one seems to be able to match the matte vapor color I had my factory rears widened to 10.5 " Toyo
R888R in this pic, wore those out in 4000 miles , now running Nitto 555R

So here it is in a nut shell. The new Nitto 555Rll performed as expected on dry pavement or even a little better. Put about 100 miles or so before uncorking. Ambient temp around 70. Keep in mind these are
315/35R20 on stock widebody wheels so they aren’t going t be like 15,17,or 18” DR’s. Wish I had data logged ie: 0-60 and max Gs. thats for next time out. For a direct swap It’s got my nod, But again comparing to stock summer pirreli it’s not going to have all the qualities, longer life, & more top end speed rating, but getting the power to ground no comparison. Wet traction will have to wait for wet weather. Now for the dig result, after being on the highway with heat in the tire, exited ramp in track mode,(power chiller on traction control off) and knowing What a complete mash to right foot Might yield, one still Gutz to find out out the big question. And the result was 30 or 40‘ of moderate tire spin but the whole time launching the car forward, again wish I had data logging going for core results. Zero slide sideways. Pirelli would have been sideways. Caught 2nd and and very brief spin. The tires were Road Force balanced
The Tire price each was $358 and change delivered to door. I like them , the big question is how long they will keep the traction, wet weather traction, and how they will perform at lower temps. Another question will they improve with a little more summer heat? As far as handling with stock suspension I think about the same But in all fairness I didn’t push it that hard yet in corners. Ride was slightly more bounce. I tried knocking a few pounds out that helped a bit. They were not that noisy, in fact pirelli was a bit louder only for the shear fact they were all done, nothing left. As time goes on the sound will probably amp up. A Perfect scenario would be a set of killer custom Triumph wheel and tire set up, a set of custom drag radials and wheels for the track, also these for bone stock wheel with direct tire swap.

Your data will be more valuable to the forum as you will have a direct comparison of DR vrs DR. Really when you think about it mine will be a
opinion until I get 60’. 0-60 and so on I will try to get after it next couple days. Also the only other time I had DR’s was on a 2017 M6 Hellcat Challenger, totally different drive train so can’t do comparison to that either.

Srarted with 32 they heated much more quickly than stock summers just normal driving found 34 and 35 @ rears going by tps on dash. Pulled in to lot knocked them back to 30. I will doub check w gauge and data log. Next time out. Again @ 16@GoManGoHC2 will be the more important one to watch ie: DR vrs DR with previous data base line against new DR data.

Did you take these to the drag strip or were these your daily tires? Also, any idea what kinda mileage you got out of them?

I competed in the NMCA Muscle Car Nats with these. DA 2500 plus and I ran full setup like the street car class required on 93 octane. Best 60' was 1.67 which I didn't think bad for the terrible conditions. I use them mainly as a street tire though and they work well for that. I'll have to check how many miles I get from them when I finally swap them out but they're pretty much slicks at this point LOL.

Everyone I've known that ran NT05 did not like the tire.

Just ordered mine. I’ll have them on the Redeye sometime next week :).. ordered new 295s Ps4s for the Charger. Just got my government 1200 check! Pay for 2 tires anyway haha.

Can’t wait to finally be able to get out of the hole in under 4 seconds 0-60 in the challenger. I want to see a sub 7 second 0-100 time is my goal stock. I think I can get it. Haven’t seen what others are seeing stock..

FR rims arrived today, not the best color match. They are more greenish then bronze, not as noticeable in a vertical position but side by side they are. I think I’ll wait on a set of 11” rims that are in the works arrive and mount the 315’s on them and put these rims in the attic for now. Tough to wait though but it’s said good things come to those that wait 🤞

2018 WB HC M6. Minor mods nothing too crazy. Installed the 555rII's today size 315. Was about 68° in Chicago today and did something I've never done before! Released the clutch easy and foot to the floor. Tires spun for maybe 2 seconds and gone! With the Summer Pirelli's would have been sideways at half throttle! This tires are nothing short of GAME CHANGER!!
