Not sure what I think of the new Charger....don't hate it, but don't love it either. Not interested in paying 60-70k for an I6. If they put a V8 back in them it might make it a little more enticing. Problem is they will probably over price them to the point few can afford them when they do bring the V8 back.
My friend had a 2018 Ram and traded it for the i6 version. Took me for a ride and it's way faster than the 5.7 so there's that

At this point, I think it is unlikely Dodge will offer something to attract me away from what I have during my remaining years as an enthusiast.

Like I've said before, the problem with the Charger is it was designed as an EV with ICE being an after thought. I doubt very seriously ICE regardless of HP will be a big win in that vehicle. It's all they've got at present, unfortunately.

Like I've said before, the problem with the Charger is it was designed as an EV with ICE being an after thought. I doubt very seriously ICE regardless of HP will be a big win in that vehicle. It's all they've got at present, unfortunately.
This cannot be understated. The unibody structure was designed from the outset for the loads, weight, torque, mounting points and every other aspect of what it was originally hoped to be. Everything about the ICE version is a compromise.

They might be able to make something work, but it will not be anywhere near what it could have been.
