For some reason drying (blower is much more fun) is my least favorite part. Enjoy the washing and detail/sealant application. Been using DI water for years, so don't stress about water spots anymore. Maybe that is why drying carries that feeling?
Oh yeah.....you need DI water out there.

I use WORX leaf blower (electric one) to dry my car and water just rolls off! However if you want something that is a little better and also shoots warm filtered air then get this...

I guess I’m old school, thick micro fiber towel
Chamois is old school. [biggrin]
Since my HC is a fair weather cruiser, a California Duster and quick detailer is all I use.

I use a McKees Turbo Dryer & Flex BW-18

I touch the surface as little as possible as that's how swirls are induced... well that and car washes

You guys have to try out water-less washing, especially if your car is only ever dusty. Super easy way to spray on product and wipe off and its all clean. Pretty common nowadays, all the pro detailers do it. I haven't washed a car with soapy water/buckets and a hose in like 3-4 years. This is so much less work.
I drive my car everyday, even in rain so it gets dirty. Life it to short to leave it in the garage

I personally like using a good old microfiber, although blowing the water off with some air looks satisfying in those detailing vids.

only reason why air drying method is preferred is to minimize the amount of time you use any kind of towel, to prevent any scratches. I also dont drag the towel across the car, instead I blot it, lay it down and then pick it up. When I blow dry my car 98% of the water is gone, the remaining 2% is what I use the towel for. also please pick up a bottle of P&S Beadmaker

I like those pet driers, wonder how strong the wind is from that, also like the fact that they can blow warm air and is filtered...might look into this. how long is the tube?

The length would be my only complaint, it's probably 10 feet while on, it gets HOT and makes drying super simple.

This Stihl gets it done. You have to be careful though to make sure the adjustable length tube is locked in position or you'll be taking your car to the body shop to get the dent out. And no I have not experienced that mishap (to date)

Our pet dryer doesn't work very well for car drying...I've tried.

Wait, but this is a Hellcat board. No one went for the highest power 650cfm Ego blower?
That's what I have. Ha! Ha!
