I think it looks pretty sharp! More aerodynamic than a Challenger and probably no heavier.

Way too big and heavy.
It’s 100lbs lighter than the last gen Challenger drag pack car. This thing has very little do do with the production car. They will only make 50 at an MSRP of $234,995.

Way too big and heavy.
Article said that it’s 100 lbs lighter than the Challenger DragPak. That puts it under 3500 lbs. They’ll have to add weight to make class

Challenger was meant to look retro. It did. The new Charger is milk-toast attractive.

Right? It’s like Dodge finally said, “You want a two-door Charger? Fine—hold my supercharger.”:p:cool:

@SilverBillet all the years, have we seen Forums, comment sections, and car meets have echoed the same gripe: “It’s not a real Charger unless it’s got two doors!”

And now—boom—we’ve got a track-focused, two-door beast that’s ready to silence the critics and melt some tires.

I think Dodge has been listening to feedback for years, and one of the engineers probably thought, "Hey, let's turn that EV into a two-door Drag Pak!"

I don't get in to the "race car" thing at all so I'm not up on all the specs for the Drag Pack, but I've stood next to the new Charger and it is MASSIVE. I didn't get out a tape measure but I'm pretty sure it's bigger than my 4Runner. If they shaved 100lbs that's great, but explains why it's nearly $250K as well. Will they sell 50? Previous Drag Packs didn't do well after the initial hype if memory serves.

Dodge trying to pivot and take that EV abomination and cram a Hemi in it won't change my mind about the car.

IMO, the new drag pack will be no quicker than the 2021 drag pack and its over 100K more. The parts availability is abysmal and, when available, very expensive. Folks racing them cannot obtain blocks or the crankshaft, it is a dumpster fire. I have a drag pack motor ready to be assembled after years of chasing parts. The camshaft has roller bearings, huge bore and hydraulic lifters cannot be used. As such, a BGE block camshaft cannot be used. The cylinder heads have offset valves and thiket heads cannot used within push rod relocation.
