👍 Slightly used and what you want (Z06) $100k or under. I may have the same idea next year.
With the ZR1 and ZR1x coming out I'm expecting a flood of Z06 trade ins on the market so hoping we can get around there for one of these. I specifically want a 2LZ which is what I'd call a "touring" version with heated cooled seat, etc so those may be a tad more. 1LZ is the base model and those are already around $100K for examples with barely 3,000 miles on them.

It seems a lot of C8 Vette buyers like all those wings and aero which I personally do not care for. Those options are also pricey so win win for me.

GM didn't offer a real gray or silver in 2025 on the C8 for some odd reason, so that kinda spoils a 2025 for me. Blade Silver is back for 2026 and the interior got an update as well. If I can score a good price on a 26 I'll go for it to get exactly what I want.

I hate to distract the thread, but if you are considering "e" anything, let's not forget the Plaid. Starting at $100k. Local guy has one and does the most boring 9.1's over and over at the dragway. Then had the dealer install the carbon brakes and up the speed limiter and did 203.5 in the 1 mile!!! 0-200 in in 19.75 sec!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems like a much more practical and sensible option. If I had to choose one, I'd pick the Plaid and put the leftover $100k in an aggressive mutual fund. And I'm not even including the cost of tax, reg, insurance and maintenance. Besides, the Plaid has room for the wife and dog, plus luggage for a weekend trip to the mountains. (Assuming the battery can get me there!!!) Extremely unlikely I'll be trading the HC for either! :)

I don't buy cars like these to be practical. I got a 20yo 4Runner for that. This is about the drive and the drama for me.

If I do one, I’m with you, keep the spoiler. I know I want a well appointed one and the convertible. The wheels will need to be silver and the color? This year colors I say either purple or riptide blue. I do not want the special brakes and other unnecessary things either. Street cruiser with occasional laps to keep it on its toes. Ha me too! Enjoy your hunt. I believe you have it right, hold on because some trades and sells are going to happen for some to move up. Check your insurance costs sir!
