I like the Nismo Version but the prices for new are stupid over 200k only 600 ponies. I got a 797 horsepower Redeye for 69k out the door. Nuff said. Even a new GTR is over 110k .. I could see 110 if it has a dual clutch.. I’ve heard the 6 speed isn’t very good I’ve heard comparisons to corvettes old automatic in the C7. I wouldn’t go from the ZF8 to a slushy 6 for that kind of money. I’d want some wizz bang PDK or 7 speed DCT for anything I’m paying over 100k for.

GT-R is a dual clutch transmission car, it’s a transaxle in the rear of the car.

While not particularly attractive, I do thi k it looks like it means business. An engineer driven car.

But then I am not enamored of the challenger personally (or its retro predecessor version of the mustang), and of course this is all esthetic w no right or wrong answer.

Still think the charge looks meaner / more aggressive.

Interesting that the one off experimental Tesla nurburgring cars had wide rears for wide tires and wings that made, in my mind, at.least a superficial resmblance.

Between 2016 and 2017 the charger rear wing was raised 1 cm. I always.liked that they weren't just basing things odd.looks but still.tuning the cars for aero performance. I've only ever seen that in Porsche and MB and porsche limped out shortly thereafter until automation progressed to the point to where they could take the human factor out of the equation.

Congratulations ...53 years is a long time.

At 14, my girlfriend was a 42 yr old school teacher. That situation was a little crazy i admit.
Her kids were older than I was.

Can't say I've always made wise decisions.

Looks are subjective, I like it at 50K but not 100K. Love my domestic muscle but would like to drive one of these, with the AWD you should be able to pull pretty hard from a 5-10 mph roll in first gear, that's not easy to do in a Hellcat on any tire.

Most of you missed the point of this car, it's a track engineered car, it's not meant to go to the drag strip, etc etc but you can certainly mod it and surprise the p*ss out of unsuspecting people.

Alpha used to sell 7,8,9,10,11,12,13, etc etc kits that would be 700,800,900, and so on and so forth kits that were able to be daily driven.

You are smoking crack if you say you wouldn't drive a 1200 hp daily driver, 0-60 in high 1 seconds lol...... WTF

But yeah if you are looking to be one with the car this isn't it, it's a jack of all trades sort of deal, feels like a video game sometimes with how smooth it goes around a track.

Yep, at $100k it's entering 911 territory, which is a car I'd much rather have for lapping the track. But if the used prices would fall on the GTRs, I'd buy one.

Used is a different story, but honestly the 911 look so mundane and blend in, 911 definitely the better daily driver but the gt-r is a cult classic, despite what people think here you will snap more necks with a gtr than a hellcat. Fast and furious has made sure of that.

Didn't realize there was that big of a difference. My buddy just picked up a new 911 S for around $125k. I've only driven it a few times but he claims 0-60 in the low 3s. Where does the GTR land?
