That's a more unique wheel than the other ones which seems to be on the majority of widebodies.

I was ignorant at the time but I'm glad that mine has different wheels.

Oddly they appear to be printed plastic.
Molded banana skins
Because the guards technically are supposed to be removed by the dealer ( packaging garbage ) there is no time or $$$ wasted to clean up the cutter marks on the tooling
So they do look similar to printed plastic
They are the same guards as the standard Hellcat uses
Actually I believe the 170 uses the same spoiler as the standard Hellcat
The center are is recessed

I believe the widebody versions are straight across the front

Did someone mention beer ?

Really? I think those look like the widebody version of the 1320 wheels on the bottom. I think the top look closer to yours

View attachment 129530
The shape of the fork is close, but the concave looks "off" to me on the top wheel. I am planning to replace both front and rear with something for the street and liked the look of that bottom wheel better with the deep concave for the rear. They have 20x11 and 20x9 to match. Then the whole question about tires size/sidewall came up and what proportions would look right. Kinda frustrating honestly, why didn't they sell this car with a street tire wheel package and have the drag setup as the option.

The front tires/wheels will probably get put in storage. They're pretty useless and aren't light enough. My cheap Dark Stars are like 18lbs lighter PER WHEEL/TIRE which is nuts.

The tire/wheel packaging was been deficient since the very 1st Hellcat hit the road with 9.5" wheels & 275's

True, but this car I had to dodge weather just to get it home safely. It drives great on the as delivered tires/wheels they just won't last anytime, are dusting the back of the car quite a bit, and are expensive to replace.

Dodge claims they'll have a street tire/wheel package in the DC catalog but I'm betting it'll be pricey. May end up just being a 20x9 front and 20x11 rear with their standard tires on them.

Personally I would get a wheel company to figure out the backspacing, tire sizes and run 9" and 11" wides on it whether it's 18s or 20s.

Mine would be Oh great, now it's making more noise !

My Hellcat has always done it in Sport or Track but not to the extent I'd prefer. But I'd bet it can be easily 'tuned' in. When I had the Mustang some tuner was offering a 'big cam' setting that mimicked a big cam lumpy idle. Was all smoke & mirrors but felt & sounded like the real deal & brought out my inner 16 year old :ROFLMAO:
I bet the new EV Charger thing will have an app for that! :ROFLMAO:

The Tundra had a throaty sound. After about 3 days I noticed that it was always the same no matter how fast or slow I accelerated.

I took it back to the dealer and told them to shut the shit off and I didn't care if they had to cut wires. Fortunately they were able to turn it off with a laptop.

What bullshit.

So a little factoid. My temp plate has been laying in the car since I took delivery. I never mounted it on the rear bumper. I've been driving quite a lot, passed police, they've passed me, and I've actually been expecting to get pulled over. NOPE.

You failed to act appropriately, you needed to find neutral, 4500rpm, and then a gear.

Then you'd get the attention you deserve...

Over filling oil in engines without proper windage management ie windage tray/pan - baffles etc, could grab the oil with crank and start introducing small air bubbles. In the old days folks thought more was better. Given the force on crank and rod bearings with these motors it could go south real quick if fresh cool oil in the needed quantity isnt satisfied.
Not to worry about cavitation with just one extra quart and with such low viscosity

Coming up on 200 miles now. Hope to get a few more in this week with the nice weather. The more I drive it the more I like it.

I have noticed the sound deadening delete (for weight they say). When you shut the doors you get a "bong" sound instead of a quiet "thud". The sub also causes a rattle sound. I may have to address that one it's annoying.

SRT reached out and I got the after purchase goodies ordered. Decanter, Jay Leno stuff, and the IP badge (not sure what IP means) but it's basically the passenger air vent with my car's number and my name on there. Of course it says Speedy. I thought about "Hold On" or something but it says "Built For" so wouldn't make sense. Got enrolled for the two day drag course at Radford that's also included. You have 3 years to use it.

I would have liked the harness bar, but you have to get the carbon fiber rear delete panels unless you wanna get creative/cut the carpet delete panels. That CF panel is $3999 o_O so no on that. I don't care about the parachute or a $2640 car cover. I'll use the one I had on Go Man Go. I also have a 2018 Demon car cover still in the box that's Go Man Go in color

PPF guy headed over today to get that knocked out. He's using Autobahn Incognito film. Gonna do the front, mirrors, a-pilars, leading edge of the roof, leading edge of the hood scoop, a little behind the front tires, rear flares, and rear lower fender. On Go Man Go I didn't do the pillars or roof and they ended up with a few chips and I always wished I'd done behind the rear tires after I went to the drag strip the first time.

I asked him to check on the film doing anything to the flat black paint and he said he checked on the installers support forum and no one had ever heard of any issues removing it. Sounds like newer stuff you just put a little heat to it (or steam) and it comes off pretty easy. However the Autobahn Incognito claims a life time warranty against cracking/yellowing so there's that I guess.
