I don't really think 3300 is all that's "limited" personally, great marketing tactics to create FOMO though.

I've been looking for a 911 Turbo for a while and have had a hard time finding one. They only make a few hundred a year and none are serial numbered and marketed as limited, just is what it is.
I hear ya, after the first year of ownership with my HC, they were everywhere. I have yet to see 2 D170s in the wild though…
Considering the Challenger/Charger are two of the most popular rental car platforms ever, their brethren are everywhere, Dodge has to advertise some sort of exclusivity when they can.

I drive mine a lot. Over 3,000 miles on it now.

All these collector types wont be on their death bed thinking I sure am glad I never drove my car.
.
.
I am putting the 500 break-in miles on mine again for the second time. I took it 50 miles away for a nice lunch then to the Junkyard this afternoon to grab some wire connectors and then just took it to get Dinner. Not quite the one trick pony that has been alluded to. It's a ONE SEAT to Boot. Drive through the mountains and it still handles reasonably well on the OEM Weel/tire setup and NO front Sway bar. The plan was to completely un mod this one and just drive it when I stop racing. Unfortunately, I am now hearing rumors of something even better coming out. Interestingly in person this last weekend at the Drag Strip from 2 different random People. Kind of makes me think there might be some truth to them...........

Anyhow, if they come out with something better this one will be un modded and SOLD. Not driven off into the Sunset.

I agree these cars drive VERY nice and I'm still surprised by that. I switched over to some 20" wheels and street tires which helped a bit and I didn't wanna burn up my drag radials on the street. I drive mine every weekend the weather allows.

This body style hits all the right points for me, so I'm not all that interested in anything else Dodge comes up with based on the new body style. I mean we're already at 1025HP and a high 8s low 9s at almost 150mph 1/4 mile car you can drive to the track and back, that's on up there. Data logging my car shows it's tuned right where I'd have put it personally so not a lot to be gained there either which is a good thing IMO.

My next "toy" will need to be something smaller, lighter, maybe twin turbo, and AWD for me to be interested. I'm also not in to all the numbered special edition stuff. That just gives dealers a chance to rape people on price. I'd keep the 170 though, it being personalized means a lot to me.

Well, no racing at all so far this year, it has rained out almost every weekend. One more event in June I may try to hit before it's too hot until Moparty in September. I may or may not take the car to Moparty, just don't wanna leave it out over night. Sucks but is what it is. Maybe we can find an enclosed trailer setup.

Still enjoy turning fuel in to noise in between the rainy days though. I'm still not wild about the alcantara steering wheel and will never have another car with one of those. Eventually I may swap this one out for standard leather.

I’d have that steering wheel shiny and covered in watermelon, I had the same reservations with the ZL1 steering wheel
