Wonder if someone could assist me in the flow of the coolant pipes on the 3.0 street version whipple I have lost my original manual , I need to know if flow goes in on the front hoses and return our the rear hoses a picture diagram would be much appreciated
. Yes. That’s why they call it a “dual pass”. Two inlets (one on each side) flow toward the rear and then it turns around and heads back to the dual outlets on each side. The DragPak differs in that it has two inlets that flow rearward and then it turns around and moves forward in a larger center brick that has a single outlet. It uses 1” (-16) lines. Not sure what size the lines are on the street version. The new 3.8L uses this 4 line system so it must work pretty damn good.
This is what the DragPak has under the lid. You can see three separate intercooler bricks. The smaller outside ones are connected to the in lines and the big center one is moving the coolant forward to the single outlet.
