one last question will I have to buy more credits for the new os syatem
I do not believe so. It is my understanding that the credits are assigned to the ECU serial number and not related to the calibration.
We have flashed different year calibrations to PCM's in the past and nobody has reported needing to "re-license" the updated PCM.

That is good to know if I need this done again. Probably due to technique then, but I definitely needed to buy new credits when I went from an m6 or to an a8 os for both

If you are going from a M6 to an A8 you will definitely need to buy the TCM credits.
I do know that going from an A8 calibration to a M6 calibration (when we do TH400 swaps) does not require re-licensing or new credits (unless something has changed with HPtuners).
