It’s dangerous. The problem is, our adversaries aren’t going to slow down, and they approach risk differently. They try unconventional tech to see if it works, we do not. It just shouldn’t be public, or needs tighter controls. Funny part is, if this is a public offering, imagine what the government has and how long they’ve had it for.

I disagree. AI would not need to be nearly so stupid as to start a nuclear war to eliminate humans. The ideal way has always been to produce an engineered air borne transmissible virus (except for adding in mutable phase, I put this together when I was 16 in an article I wrote). The reasons this would be preferable (especially compared to individual "terminator" units, etc...) should be pretty obvious after covid - we got lucky. Had this been as virulent as 1917, we'd have been in big trouble.

They don't have to start a nuclear war. If AI thinks humans are destroying the planet, they may destroy the humans in different ways. There is no compassion from a AI
