The sales are slow because of inflation, prices and interest rates. Jeep brand will be just fine as soon as they drop the huge push for PHEVs.
I was looking down the line the other day and literally every chassis was covered in orange wiring:mad:

I keep seeing reports that the lots are full because they're not selling but if you look at historical numbers they are doing just fine, just not a record this year. You can't have record sales every quarter or every year after year.

Lots are full because they are sure we'll be on strike and God only knows for how long, so they've stocked up inventories by having us pumping out everything we can before that happens so they have something to sell during that time.

Haven't you heard, Bidenomics made the economy great, this can't be true...
Well...there are people that will pet bison...when the sign says not to..there are people that if told to will wear a mask again..(in spite of what we know)..and strange as it may seem there are those that believe Bidenomics is working..:rolleyes:

Actually, My Trackhawk is the best built vehicle ive ever owned.
But I guess its kinda silly to call it a Jeep when the frame is a Mercedes.

‘13 GC Overland, most trouble free vehicle I’ve ever owned. 88K on the clock. ‘22 Summit has been flawless so far.

So let’s take the Grand Cherokee for example. Here are some of the issues I have to start:
- Engine Choices:
— Pentistat
— The 2L PHEV
— No Hemi

Then for shits and giggles, look at the price difference between the models. The V6 Summit starts at $65,000.
The Summit 4xe starts at $69,475. The Summit Reserve V6 starts at $68,940 while the Summit Reserve 4xe starts at $77,825. I’m sure the plug in hybrid gets better economy, and sure on paper the HP numbers aren’t bad. But that’s a lot of money for just the engine type.

Jeeps failure will be the same as Dodge, and Ram will follow behind that. We are being forced to purchase engine platforms that most never asked for. I’m fine with offering an EV or a hybrid, but don’t force it on me if I just want the Hemi. I love my TRX, and it’s going to be around for a long time. The issue I have is when the time comes to retire the TRX from daily driving activities, I’m going to have to look somewhere other than Ram/Dodge/Jeep because I don’t want to have to buy an EV. Maybe a 2 door Bronco will make a good daily driver in a few years?

As an owner of a loaded 2010 Jeep GC SRT8 that cost $41K and looking at the available 2023/4 lineup - they have nothing we would consider and even if we did the prices are ridiculous especially considering the engine (lack of) choices. Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer - $100K+ for a Jeep?
