Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and can’t figure it out. The power only drops when certain warning messages appear. Driving straight ahead is completely normal, but when the warnings show up and I take a corner, the car feels like it has no power.

The warning messages that appear are:

  • Distance
  • Lane Keep
  • ESP

The strange thing is that these messages appear very irregularly. Sometimes everything is fine for one to two months, then the warnings come back along with the power loss.

We’ve already been to three different workshops, but no one has been able to find the issue. It doesn’t seem like a typical mechanical problem, more likely something electronic or sensor-related.

here is a video https://iselino.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Jeep.mp4

Has anyone experienced something similar or can give tips on which sensors or control units I should have checked?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Kurt
What is your weather like there? Reason I ask is we have a regular Cherokee and if the outside sensors get dirty or icy (like now here) they will give unreliable readings. Just a thought
