Here’s a before and after for you guys. Dyno’d 2/17 before adding a FAS Billet plate to my 2.4 IHI blower, avg 3 pulls 806 hp. Installed FAS Billet inlet plate, hand port matched my snout with a 2.85 Litens already attached, bolted on a Fastman 95 mm TB, no relearn no tune change, didn’t even disconnect the battery, picked up a solid 50 HP and 20 ft lbs TQ. Added 3 MPH to the top of my 1/4 mile time.

Nice numbers right there! Do you have your snout ported to match the 95m TB?
If not maybe port the snout and bump up the TB to 100mm to match.....

The snout inlet is 95.20 mm ID, the FM TB was a smooth transition to the snout as it’s 95mm. I just aligned it smooth with the inside of the snout and tightened the 4 TB to snout bolts.
These numbers on pump 93 with a bottle of Octanium for insurance. Look at the low knock sensor volts, could probably give it mire timing even and get close to 875 but I’m happy with it, for the moment at least lol

When I say hand port matched my snout I mean snout outlet to the FAS plate inlet, I didn’t touch the inlet side of the snout. 74DD083E-772A-42E6-966D-1F5F52CF9418.jpeg DF9EAC3D-E383-4E4F-8131-7A62520C3558.jpeg E62767DF-064C-43A4-99B9-35D17741A2F9.jpeg

Great results. Curious what a fully ported snout with a 105 would do with it. I'm tempted to buy the plate.

I'm just not convinced a 105mm TB is doing anything more than a 100mm. I've seen nothing but great results with a ported snout and 100m TB on many vehicles.

My opinion, not enough more to justify the $650 to port the snout and another $900 for a 105 TB. Unless your upping the rpm or adding headers it can’t use very much more air then it is now. This is like the perfect match for 6500 RPM’s and stock exhaust

Interesting thread. It's too bad the Edelbrock 2650 is not available for the Hellcat, it appears to perform well...quite popular among the mustang crowd.

I have “another” blower I have apart, I’m going to be hogging out it’s stock inlet plate and will be putting it back on in maybe 6 weeks or so, so up next in my crazy world of testing stuff is that combo with this same snout and the FM TB. We shall see if a $1000 plate beats 2 hours with a die grinder And a few burrs and sanding rolls or not :)
Nothing like having a old friend with a dyno shop :) :)

I recall a few years ago, one of the bigger tuners said the results from porting were negligible...
I always disagreed because a PD blower needs as much lung as you can give it, but I don’t recall if they were running the stock TB or not.

Agreed. That’s why I mentioned 100mm TB.
I’m running the 105mm VMP TB only because of the after market SC and mods. Still think what you are doing is awesome. Great numbers as well on pump gas. 👍

I’m on the fence. I have headers, cam, 105tb, FAS snout. I truly believe the car needs this bearing plate to get a chunk of power.

I’m only 17psi with a 2.56 upper currently.

With all you have breathing wise, YES, in my opinion you will gain MUCH from the plate or opening up the stock one

My 84 Capri that I’ve had since 85, inspection sticker on window says 11/89 lol. Hasn’t seen water to even wash it with since around then either. A46B70E3-9525-44A0-88AC-DE9F882E4F94.jpeg
