Anyone get a set of Mickey Thompson tires covered in a silver graphite like paste? Almost like anti sieze. All around the bead and coating the insides. Never received a set of tires like this before, and I've gotten these tires multiple times over the years.

I have a set of 315/50-17 MT Street R’s, maybe 10-15 passes on them. Pretty much like new except they are a few years old but stored sealed in garbage bags in 72F garage. They are on Race Star Recluse Rims. I’d sell them cheap, $500 for the set of 2, both rims and tires, mounted, balanced, ready to go.

I just spent 3 1/2 days last week and about 15k in parts to replace the entire drive train in my cat, clutch to a new 9310 2.66 close ratio Tranzilla transmission, sent the Wiles driveshaft in for refurb, new 3.90 SRT Diff, and new RE axles. Took it out on Thanksgiving day around noon for a test ride, no WOT as I want to break the Diff in a bit before such but totally smooth to 110 and it’s staying this way, no more 1/4 track for this cat, I can’t afford to do this again, time or money wise. I’d still sell the car if I got a decent offer for it, it’s unbelievably clean inside and out and underneath even for a car that almost 10 years old now. You can eat off the underneath and the rest of the car is the same.

A tire that has been mounted is considered to be used. Can't legally be sold as new so the price should've reflected that.

And speaking of tires that aren't new...

Been buying 3-4 sets per year from Tire Rack. No more. The last set from there was for the Challenger and two of the tires were over two years old. Was told that they consider four years the limit for selling "new" tires.

Had that set sent back then thought, on and off, about how to get fresh tires for a couple of months. Well, that search ended this week after having a lengthy conversation with a very nice guy (Fred) at Simple Tire. Now I have four fresh tires in the garage.

Not 2-3 months fresh like I was used to a few years ago, but the oldest is six months. That's apparently as good as it gets these days. From now on Simple Tire will get my business.

Correct, it was sold as new for Black Friday sales price, back up to full price already. They use distributors and drop ship them. There is still no status on the return labels. Monday I may not be as understanding

Car is fully put back together at the 1000+ to the tire as it was before the trans miss-hap, I could not bring myself to put it back to stock. Back in the game? No, not like I once was, lost the passion but still love the car, it’s state of perfection and cleanliness brings me smiles and awe but I’d still part with it if I got a 60k offer but besides saying such on the forums I have not put any time in marketing or advertising it. I guess my hope is someone on here that loves and appreciates the platform found want in it. I mean 1000+ to the tire in a stick car is more fun then one can imagine if they’ve never experienced it, brings me ear to ear smiles every time I drive it but the worry of it getting totaled by being hit, stolen, or some mishap takes the fun out of it. I once drove it like I stole it without worry but for some reason not any more ????

It’s cleaner on its underside then some cars 2 months off the lot, for an almost 10 years old car I’d call it looks almost new, well the drivetrain is all new lol.
