I have already wondered if a Challenger or Charger body would fit on a Ram pickup chassis....and how cool it could be.

Well, most tanks are built here now, so, who knows.

Yeah, my grandparents house was filled with various "The South Will Rise Again" items. I was surprised not to find them in my fathers house when he kicked the bucket.

Yeah......miltary brat. My old man was born on Ft. Bragg because my grandfather was in the Army during WW2. I was born in Fla during the 60's cuz my old man was in the AF. We stayed there until he came home from VN.

I was summarily kidnapped and taken to Maryland when my parents moved back here in '68.

Yeah...grandfather enlisted in the Army somewhere right after high school....around 1932/33. Spent most of his time in field artillery and bounced around the Pacific during WW2. Apparently he made if off of Corregidor just before it fell to the Japanese. Went a few other places and then back through the PI when it got retaken.

My old man was in the AF from 64-68. He spent time in VN, then joined the ANG around 1970 and retired out of there somewhere around 2005.

Various uncles in WW2, Korea, and VN. Army, Navy and AF.

Seems I'm the only Marine out of the bunch. Probably wanted to save the best for last

Wtf troop....was waitin fer you to tell me Grant was yer great great great uncle...I come from a Navy family..father was a Chief Petty officer in the S pacific...WW2..my uncle..(age 90)..a retired admiral...that still thinks he's in the navy..I was in the first VN era draft..#321..never had to go...had I gone..it would have been the Navy..and my life would have been different...
