TBM is the hot ticket. I tried to get some when I was doing my conversion and they didn’t have anything yet. It would have been a lot easier and less expensive going with this instead of changing the knuckles and going over to the Strange DragPak stuff (that also required new wheels). If you want to take over 60 lbs off the front and still be able to stop…. Do this!

Thoughts on street use? I’m assuming if you don’t daily it would be fine.
for the price it would be a great replacement for tce that cracks rotors anyway

My thought is that as long as use doesn’t create heat that isn’t given a chance to cool down (like hard/continuous street use) then they should be good. If a car gets compromised in the direction of a drag car, it should be driven considering it’s limitations (hopefully 😂). I was amazed at how hard those Strange drag brakes hauled mine down when my chute didn’t deploy. I’m sure they got real hot doing that but once they got the job done they weren’t required to do it again for a while. I’m thinking that these are at least as capable as those. TBM’s are used on some very fast (200 mph+) cars that, if they have a chute malfunction, need real stopping power. Those cracking issues with the common conversions are something that could have a bad result. I think this is a better option.

These are used on many drag and drive cars that trap over 200.

They've become a hot item since motion raceworks bought them. Those guys are pretty intense about quality.
