Hello all.

Currently I have a 2020 Hellcat Charger that is almost a yr old and has about 4500 miles on it. I am thinking about trading it in and ordering a Redeye Widebody Chally but I am not 100 percent sold on it. Can someone push me off the ledge and convince me that its the right thing to do?

I also cannot make up my mind what color I want as well.

And should I order a SS instead of the Redeye?

I have no idea what to do. lol

Drag racing at all? Go S/S route and don't look back.

Can you get a below invoice deal on the RE?
Looks like Dodge took away 2k of their rebates but still offering 0% 72 months.

I'm not really a fan of Chargers so I say do it.
But what are you bored with about the Charger?

IMO, the Redeye is the best mix of street and strip fun with the looks to boot. I’m also a sucker for Octane Red or Pitch Black.

Aside from looks - which is reason enough for me personally, the WB coupled with 3.09’s along with the extra hp...completely different feel. I went from a 2016 Challenger Hellcat to the WB RE with 3.09’s and man I’d never go back now. You would be giving up two doors but getting far better looks imo. Stronger internals, driveshaft, axles, etc too. If it’s in the budget you wont regret it. SS? Are you going to race? If not then no, not imo.

Biased much?

IRT OP, I think the S/S should be your goal if you are going to the drags otherwise from what other have said a RE WideBody is a good mix between the two drag/street.

I have both. A 2020 WB HC Charger and a 2019 WB RE Challenger. The Charger, in my situation, is a much better built car than my Challenger, which has been a disappointment since purchase. My Challenger has multiple paint flaws, came with bent brake lines in the engine compartment and a faulty transmission valve body. The WB Challengers are also rock chip magnets, so splash guards and PPF are a must. The Charger also has better ride quality and versatility, so if this is going to be a daily driver instead of a weekend toy the decision becomes even easier. My point is if your Charger is well built be very careful moving on because build quality on these can vary wildly and you already have a very fast car.

I prefer the Charger, but if you do pull the trigger on the Challenger then go for Smoke Show with red interior.

What's a Chally? ;) Seriously though, I'd go with the Challenger. Plumb Crazy, TorRed or Go-Man-Go. Black is always good.

I thought they moved Challenger ordering until September. So order banks don't open until fall. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Get one while you can. Stellantis is fully "woke" and not a fan of the V8 engine. I may be overreacting here, but I don't think so.

They are not killing the Hellcat. The one thing that saved Dodge and gave Ram its 80k transaction truck.
When the day comes they can no longer keep it, I fully expect some limited edition model or models as a final hurrah. They know damn well they can make some huge money on last edition Hellcats.
So I am expecting the same line up for 2022. They made their announcement on 7/2 last year. Figure it will be the same this year.
