Patching Mickey Thompson ET Street R

Picked up a fender screw in my brand new Mickey Thompson et street r drag radial. It's in the thick part of the tread, way inbound from the sidewall. Has anyone patched an ET street R from the inside? Obviously a regular plug will not work, especially for racing on the track where the prep could pull it out. Thoughts? Would you do it?

Also, has anyone re-mounted a tire on a beadlock that was already mounted before, and has the indents from the knurl?

I had a brand new Ducati that got a very small screw in it (less than 200 miles)..the dealer said we can patch it on the inside...(are you crazy)...I said good patch it and sell it to somebody else...now put a new one on ....he still thinks I'm crazy...I never will drive ANY of my vehicles with a compromised tire...EVER
