It would seem to me that we can up the voltage and/or change a regulator as well as add more battery capacity to that unit.

Larger motor and optimize some gearing.

Slicks instead of those knobbies.

We'll get you into the 10sec club before you know it.

If that is all he has, he had a tough time Friday while it was snowing over one inch per hour, he is going to have some additional challenges with cold weather soon. Mornings at -20F real temps, cause a bit of a wind chill at 40-60 mph. Ice, sand and salt cause bike riders grief also. Some of that is coming.. yep, now that the sun has set and it is below freezing, hope he got home.
