I wanted something subdued with this one. It already looks like a spaceship lol and definitely no big wings or canards a lot of people seem to get.
I saw a new 2025 black Z06 a few weeks ago at a car meetup. It had the huge rear high-wing spoiler.

Did look kinda nice. Not too over the top considering how much over the top the car already is.

Speedy...That's a beauty! Congrats!

Regarding PPF...I saw you mentioned the car has ceramic coat. If it's a product like CQuartz that was professionally applied and cured under UV be careful. My PPF/CQuartz guy had a car in his shop where the new owner didn't know it had been coated and had front end PPF applied. It won't adhere correctly and it looked like a clear vinyl flag on the hood flapping towards the windshield. Owner said it started lifting on a highway at about 70 mph.

My PPF guy said he'd have to "grind down " the clearcoat to remove the bonded ceramic. He also said a lot of the stuff out there is a wipe on solution that can be removed without the grinding.

Don't know what's on your car but wanted to give a heads up.

I can't swing a Z06 but will admit the discounting on Z51 Vette's has got my attention. Enjoy the new beast!

Your guy is exactly right. You have to be conscious of coatings before applying PPF. The car definitely has something on it, looks professionally applied to me, makes the clear look super deep. I'd have the PPF expert examine and tell me what he thinks. I'm only planning to have PPF applied to the front bumper and mirrors and maybe the A-pillars. That's it. Since it won't be a daily I'm not in a huge rush. For now I'm just staying WAY back from other cars and especially trucks.

Great car. I love everyything except the color. Kinda like the Dodges stand out with brighter colors. But, everyone's taste is different. If you like it that's what matters.
says the guy with a white challenger:unsure:

white with the contrasting black looks a lot more appealing than a dull grey. Like I said, whatever turns you on. I love mine and wouldn't change a thing. What color is your car, destroyer? LOL

Mine is Billet Silver with black stripes. White is very much like destroyer grey, neither have metallic in it

I've never wanted a white car not enough pop. I've owned several black and never again too hard to keep clean.

Interestingly, since shopping for 911s and the Z06 white and black were the most common colors I came across. Quite a few red for the Z06 too.

Metallic grey or silver was it for me on this one. It's stunning in the sun light. Just a hint of pearl flake in the paint and the red brakes and interior accents really set it off. The pearl makes the color flop around all the shapes in the car.

For 30y my preference was silver, I like that it hides dust, dirt and water spots, and I believe it one of the best camouflage colors, I always thought of it as the opposite of pop. Then the white M6 popped up on my radar, it was the last remaining new M6 I could find in summer 2020. I dove 150mi to see it, and bought it.

Couple years ago I was coming out of WM walking to the car parked at the end of the row where people care about their cars, and there was a silver Challenger near it. The silver blended into the background, just like I would have wanted, but the white stood out like a shiny star. My objective was camouflage, but the white really does stand out.

On the Challengers it had to be orange. I grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard and that was that. My 09 was Hemi Orange which I thought I loved until I parked next to a Go Mango Challenger. Go Mango looks miles better to me. Just different colors for different cars.

My dad has always liked orange. We are looking for a scat pack/ T/A / 1320 something for him. He really likes the sinaman stick color also. Looking for high options low miles

Found a gomango T/A with 8k miles. He looked into it and was sale pending

After watching for cars the past 6 mos I've learned a lot of the online pricing changes automagically, it must use an algorithm or something. Also, I'm sure it's relative to total price but you can always call and make an offer, I offered 14K less than asking price on the Z06.
