Herman shows pictures of the one he owns that they are using for this build. In this case it is a Challenger body without anything attached. No engine/drivetrain. No suspension. No interior/glass/nothing. They do not have a VIN. It is built with the conversion into a race car intended. It’s how the Dragpaks start out.
Did he try to work out a deal with Watson to build it for him?

Watson Racing is months and months out on building a car.

Mopar/MotorTrend has given us less than 90 days to build it, more like 30-45 after they finally sent the contract, engine and transmission.

We’re supposed to be able to buy the basic body/platform with the full DragPak cage and suspension platform from Direct Connection. Kind of a Body in White plus. Good way to start a full on race car build.

I’ve taken a good look at the “packages” that make up the Build your own DragPak. I have a pretty good idea of what it costs to do a lot of it because I’ve been doing it. The body with that cage and other mods is a cost effective deal. Some of the other packages are not. They are over priced. They want $5k for a $1,500 wrap. 🙄

I wouldn't wrap it. At least not theirs. When they pay me to advertise then they can supply it.

I watch DragPak Dennis on YouTube. His car is tuned and setup by Watson. A mega dollar deal right there.

Isn't the Cobra Jet their main car?
Yes. Watson has and does build the Cobra Jets. You’ll see pictures now of the CJ’s and Dragpaks side by side at Watson. Mike Pustenly of MPR in Michigan (he’s the guy who I’m working with) was involved with the original DragPak design and along with Roush built those cars starting in 2010. The powers that be at SRT has changed and they decided to go with Watson for the new package.
