Was in a new RAM yesterday, a real nice one. It just quit running. Driver says it does that sometimes. Company I work for purchased many of these. That is BS.
After my Cummins Turbo Diesel served me for 20 yrs. and 272k miles I went Jap. ‘21 Tundra TRD Pro. I care not about Ram any longer. Out with the old, in with the new, to me.
Hard to believe this isn't a purposeful/designed collapse to rid themselves of the labor contracts, etc., etc. May never really know for sure. So very blessed my family and I were able to be apart of the Hellcat Era. So many memories that will last a lifetime. My kids love the Hellcat.
My emergency braking went off for the first time ever the other day and scared the crap out of me. Beeping a crazy sound and BRAKE on the evic while switching lanes. ZERO cars in sight, car started applying braking on its own. Minutes later there was an over the air uconnect update. Late build 21

I sure wouldn't want something like that happening while going through a curve...maybe a wee bit over the speed limit. Okay, at the limit of adhesion, or close to it.
Then it must've been quite (an unwelcome) surprise when that crap kicked in.
First thing I do is go through all the choices on the screen and disable most everything. A while back I drove my girlfriend's new car and thought "There's something seriously wrong with the alignment and/or steering on this thing."
Turns out she hadn't turned off the lane keep assist, or whatever that nanny is called.

And I thought I had killed my girlfriend's TRX when trying to back it off the trailer.
Reversing at 0.5 mph, all of a sudden it shrieked and slammed the brakes. Engaged the parking brake, too, as I recall.
Apparently it thought the ground was approaching and a collision was imminent.
That could potentially have become ugly since the rear tires were on the ramp. Thankfully it was my hydraulic beaver tail trailer, not loose ramps which could've come away from the trailer.
Yep, that’s off. I hate that, it doesn’t even work it makes it more difficult to stay in a lane straight in my opinion. I turned off everything with a physical button

It's wild after doing this video the amount of UAW employees hitting me up about the BS company wide at the plants. It's like they are cost cutting so much so they can milk the brand before abandoning it and selling it off in a few years
The Tesla brand doesn't benefit from having a v8 lineup, unless it runs on hydrogen. And if they go hydrogen, it won't be on the shitty platforms that are Dodge today.
At this rate do they really think they can make it last even a few years... and it still have any value left to sell at the end of it all??
I mean, maybe Ford would buy it as a pity sale just to bury the name of their old rival. I can only imagine the press release on that one--Ford now owning the Hemi trademark.
There is a casino, or some stupid phone game commercial where at the very end, the announcer says you can win "a brand new FORD JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE". I even rewound it and recorded it, so could make sure I heard that right. I did.
Maybe a sign of things to come? They call that Predictive Programming.
