I have no need for a stand alone in mine.
I do like the live tuning.

In our case, we went with the Dominator system that was used in the DragPak. Simple menu of plug and play harnesses and sensors for the Gen 3 Hemi platform that was already in a package. Not going to say it’s superior to Motec or Fueltec or any other Tech, but it is a simple to use and very capable system. Plus Adam has a working relationship with some people at Holley that he goes to when there are questions. Just yesterday I sat in on a conversation with one of his guys concerning our choices of EGT monitoring systems for our setup and why we would want to use the Holley system vs the MAD Racing analog version designed for use with the Dominator. I know there aren’t a lot of serious drag racers on this forum but for the few who find this interesting it’s fun to share. We are just dipping our toes into the world of turbos at this point. But, I have to say … the stuff that’s being done with the turbo cars is astounding! A lot of jaw dropping Genius people out there 🥸

Also!!! The piggyback Holley Terminator EFI system that OST mentioned is in the works, will rock the tuning world for all the people who aren’t going to go full stupid race car with these things. The options that will provide is going to change everything. Just wait 😎

When I have turbo questions I call an old friend Kenny Duttweler. He never steers me wrong

Lol. No doubt. I know you know what I’m talking about when it comes to the advances in the turbo world today with boost and traction control capabilities. We have a class out here that is called Real Steel. Elsewhere I’ve heard it called All Steel/Glass. It’s basically a turbo vs Nitrous class that runs N/T 1/8 mile on a small tire with no bars. That is hopefully what my car will evolve into. Takes mid 4’s to be competitive 😬

Sounds like a fun class. I’m looking at boost controllers now being sticking stock ecm. Leaning towards the AMS 1000

Metal porn 🤤. Thought y’all might like some. I had the time today to take that LME intake apart to check it out up close and personal. Holy Smokes! CNC Billet stuff is always impressive but damn! The intercooler is 16x9 by 3.5” deep 80567A75-930C-40EC-8A57-B3757515049A.jpeg 40D7BA8C-B583-4958-9EF8-58A09311FB57.jpeg 5FEC206F-9543-4085-BF3A-16ED984AF3CE.jpeg 5029C101-8EAE-4A69-BBFE-7C61D46BF65C.jpeg F0C822B1-7FEF-47F2-ADBB-01427AEDF704.jpeg E21CA4ED-CBD8-478D-B1A9-3FDC3DE3C5E1.jpeg D060824D-7858-45D3-8C2A-DA5B51BEC223.jpeg 252FD175-7AD1-41A0-98A9-1F931C522286.jpeg A10B8274-0E54-4B75-8B2F-C88B7AC45722.jpeg

I assume you mean the in and out ports for the intercooler. 2 in and 2 out. The Whipples have that. A way to increase flow volume. For this…. I’ll be using a big 1” line from the ice tank, splitting it with a Y into 2 in and then the 2 out will be Y’d into the return back to the tank. I know the Whipple DragPak I have now is three separate intercooler bricks. Two going one way and then turning around into the big center one going out. They call it Dual Pass. I don’t know what the internal design of this thing is doing because it looks like one big brick from the outside. The two outside ports are divided from the two center ports that are open to each other. That means that the two outers connect to one and the inners to the other. It’s magic 🤔. I just really took more than a cursory look at this thing today and I’m going to have to talk to them to find out what the internal layout of the intercooler is. Inquiring minds need to know.

Sevens are hard 🫤. At the Spankintime track rental yesterday. Not quite the results I was dreaming about but fun to be back in the seat again. Had traction issues early with the temps in the 40’s until later in the day when it warmed up a little and the prep started working. Managed a 1.25 with the rears on a 150’ wheelie that would have been the best pass of the day, but….. after a delay that had me shut it down and wait in the box, I forgot to turn the icebox pump back on. I felt the mph go away about 200’ from the stripe. Then… we changed the pulley 😈. Spun the tires in what felt like a slow motion 1.29 sixty after the previous launch and ran a 8.22 at 166.7 mph. The car weighed in at 4100 lbs. So…. That’s it for Blower Stinkeye. I’ll have some good pics later today. AAA484AC-D9E7-46FF-AEBE-5701E5770ACE.jpeg F9CE3EA5-615A-490D-B5F0-8172314CA278.jpeg

does the 3.8 use 4 bolt pulley? My 3.0 uses 5 bolt
Yes the 3.8 uses 5 bolts. I’m was still running the DragPak 3.0 on mine yesterday and it’s 4.
