My 1998 Arctic White Corvette Coupe.

It's finally time to let someone else give it some TLC(or spend money on it). My original goal was to own a Corvette(any era) before I turned 30. I bought it two weeks after, Oct 1999. It's been my mistress for over 20 years now. Mods and miles. 👍

Ever let that 'one'...go? Guy who is buying it is big time Chevy & Mopar gearhead and just turned 30. So, I like that it's gonna be cared for. And he lives 5 min from, so I will get to see her from time to time. 💘

Personally, for me, I hated seeing my 70 Challenger every day after I sold it (to someone in my unit).
Made me sick to my stomach (especially after he wrecked it).

Sorry dude. 2 years ago I did the same. Bought a 1996 LT4 Grand Sport, white, blue tee tops, sleeper, no emblems, no stupid paint job, brown and black interior, 6 speed, tunes , cai, new tires, and still had the same wiper fluid init. I bought a brand new 1995 Z28 off the show room floor from girl friends dad's dealership. 14 years younger, she was in college. Did up the Z28 for a year, bought the LT4 and did the same if not more. Vette had 22,000 original garage kept. After driving the H/C I was sold. Sold 63 Shovel Pan, Z28, 96 vette, and F250 super cab. Bought the 2018 H/C. Miss em all like the girls but ride another and it goes away for a bit. Hard to let go, but have to move on. Have pics of the girls and car but will be moe. Have enough $$$ to purchase another sumtin. BUT I know howyou feel. I screened the buyers and actually turned some down and $$ on the table. They went to great people but miss em. Ran out of ware house space. $600 a month and my garage. Like what I got.

Wow you got use at of that Vette. Beautiful car but at 221k I would say it's time to go.

Sneeze, snort, snot,,,,,, bank account. I wish I was one of these guys that got one of my cars, trucks, bikes. Never been red lined, never seen snow, only the beach. Got to let it go and start over while there is time and $$.

If true Hick I suggest you travel some. Those places you have never been would be fun to check out.

@Purerock105 that is a lot of work you did and I can see why you would want it to go to a good home.

I still miss my first car. A 1985 Camaro with the 2.8L V6. I bought it used in 1987. I delivered 10's of thousands of newspapers to save up a down payment for that car. Once I had the car I got a job delivering pizzas because I just wanted to drive.

My problem is I retired 6 times before 52. Did a huge a lot of traveling taking a different women with me every trip. Months at a time. I watched these couples in ther 70's and could not do the adventures they wanted to do 20 years before. Swore I was going to do this te other way,, and I did. Now retired for thhe past 10 years and replacing body parts,, I can travel again later in life. Have been to a lot of places I should have waited. Traveled much by myself cause companions can not take time off and spend 1/2 of the $$s. Like I said before, to pack for a week, drive to Tampa, get on the ship, walk observe, eck excursions, usually 2 weeks in advance, eat drink show, ect,,, park walk to sip. Takes me 2h ours. Too easy. Flying just as easy. Need a new car or companion or both. Been incarnated in Honduras, Costa Rica, and 1/2 other central America countries. No fault of my own,,, oh Vegas with Diaz and Knives and Gun Club at Maderia Beach, Chattanooga, Tenn, just ole memories. Alabama not nice. Stories are for entertainments only, but true. Daytona bike week not good. Taco fer breakfast,, nap time then get the garage queen out with weather at 74 and 68. Time to troll.

Yes on 221k miles. 85% probably on road trips. 15% daily driver miles when it wasn't the weekend car only. Blue Ridge Parkway. Natchez Trace. Pacific Coast Highway. Route 66, etc, etc.

I've replaced virtually every part in either a modified better part which becomes preventative maintenance. Car has never stranded me. And I've been running non run-flats since 2003.
