Finally found the (almost) perfect car hauler trailer. Will work for my rock crawler and cars including the RE. H&H Speedloader EX tilt, 82 x20 ft, aluminum, extra wide (102”) drive over fenders. Sent a deposit. Waiting for the call and then a trip to AZ.

You sure about that load angle for the RE?

Same one I have. Nice choice.
Race Ramp RR-TR-5 loads the Challenger perfect.

Yes 5200 lb. axles. I’ll add the remote for the tilt. Guess I’m getting lazy.
My current 18ft. Steel deck Hefty trailer has removable heavy steel fenders and steel angle iron equipment style ramps. Worked fine for the rock crawler but not so much for loading cars.

This for open trailering. Love the Vulcan tie-downs. Stuff is not moving. I also like the tilt trailer (Race Ramps make it simple). Check out my custom spare set of wheel/tire carriers! #797 Style!

I hope you have a sunroof on your Durango, Unholy.

Anyway, 7K axles, very light, and no longer made. IMG_2143.jpg

I've been pulling with the same dually for 23 years. Zero truck issues. Over the last 40 years, I've had 6 trailers. My current trailer is an enclosed 28ft unit. It has 7K axles and 8-lug wheels.
I ordered it with insulation, front cabinets, winch, coined rubber floor, 6ft. tongue[gotta have one], gen door, and a couple other things. I've never had a flat tire, since going to the big wheels/tires. All my other trailers got flats. I use a draw-bar/equalizer hitch. I always tie the car down from the body [my dragcars have rings welded in]. Long trips in a trailer, will pound the hell outta drag-racing shocks.
I also did the 46ft living-quarters, gooseneck thing. Being caught in a couple non rest area gas-stations for fuel [people wouldn't use any courtesy]....I got over the cool-guy thing. I didn't want to buy a second trailer, and I only had that trailer about 18 months.

Unclear what you're getting at here?

Got blocked into lots, twice. Once for over a 1/2 hour after fueling. I was ready to hurt people.

Guess I've been lucky, and so far able to back out after getting fuel. But that's with shorter (44' and less) trailers.
When pulling doubles it's a different story...those I struggle with even backing up in a straight line.

That makes sense now
