Trip to Bowling Green gas mileage

Last weekend we went to the NMRA race in Bowling Green Kentucky. I have been to this race many times and we make a vacation out of it doing different things like Bourbon and cave tours and visiting the haunted house in BG

We took our '18 Challenger R/T. I filled up with 87 since it would get burned out by the time we got there and the gas mileage was just under 27. I filled up with 89 in BG. In Seymour Indiana on our way home I topped it off. Gas mileage on the last tank was 29.8. For the trip was 29.4. The last 40 minutes or so home was 60 mph or less and it was showing mid 30's. I think we could get well over 30 driving 60 on some flat roads

Just surprised we got that good of gas mileage. Also notice how much gas is left in the pics. Seymour is 320 miles away and it is just under 1/2 tank

That is damn impressive. I keep trying to get my mileage up, but then I hit second gear - which screams at me to give it more... it's all downhill from there - so I just live with my 11mpg... lol

These cars are capable of getting great gas milage! I took a pic of my average gas milage after doing the Hot Rod Power Tour this year.....and it's from a Hellcat!

Nice numbers, I saw 25 with a Hellcat on a similar road trip.

I reset before leaving Pittsburgh on Saturday. 25.5 average on the 140 mile trip home to central Ohio in a hellcat charger. Got 24.8 on the trip to Harper's Ferry last week.

Broke my 18 H/C in on a trip to Atlanta and back, hate Atlanta, parking lot. But break in got 26. Now 7,200 miles in town 10.5. But didn't buy it for that. Have my 1.8 liter Hemi Nissan gets 30 mpg but takes an hour to get some were. But stuck by the beach, where else is there to go. Lukin.
