This is what happens when a company or person's business model is nothing more than reselling inventory from wholesale distributors. Often times these companies are piss poor managed and they don't wholesale purchase the item until a customer PAYS them for it. So, technically, they never had any in stock to begin with because they blew all their business' money on other things and they can't afford to stock anything for quick shipping.

So, they take your money and try and order one from one wholeseller, then the next, then the next... and then they suddenly can't find one at the price needed to turn a profit due to things like price hikes at the wholesale level or just common out of stock items not being available. Thus, they drag it out because chances are they've already spent the money received on something else.

These companies tend to have dozens and dozens of bad complaints because they're playing kamikaze economics.

Im still monitoring my CC for the refund. I think I got an apology but tbh I wasnt trying to hear it, sorry isn’t going to undo holding onto my money for three months after nothing.

Its been six business days since he says he has issued a refund. Checked my Amex account every day and nothing. I want my fucking money already. Processor says seven business days, I’m not hopefull it will magically appear tomorrow.

Yea that is BS. It’s one thing to be on backorder due to supply issues , especially in today’s environment, but there’s no reason to not give a refund when the customer asks for it since he never shipped the parts. Unless of course, he doesn’t have the money🧐😳

Sounds like a Maryland Speed situation. I was lucky to get a Magnuson SC and a few parts before they ran out of cash and had to rely on new orders to fill old ones. A lot of customers got screwed not long after.

You know what, Egg on face, I have to apologize for the vendor not processing it. He did in good faith. So kudos to him. Its now an issue between Amex and Square, something got fucked in transit. Amex is on it and opened a case as theh said this was odd. Once again apologies to vendor. Proof he processed it:
