As we have said since day one on here, electric vehicles are problematic due to the requirement to CHARGE the batteries. The batteries have fundamental other problems owners do not want to acknowledge such as where do the materials come from and where the materials are going to go when expended. This item should get their attention, because it deals with their costs everyday.

It's still far cheaper than gas. Cost about $30 to charge my EV Truck I had. Compared to the Dodge Ram I previously had which was $80 to fill up. There is no problem with plugging in a cord at night tho its easy.

But im in CT and they have high electricity bills compared to some other states.

The whole idea of plugging something in every day sucks. Sick of charging my phone every day. Now they expect me to charge my car? No thanks

Funny how the same people who are fighting nuclear energy have no problem with the creation and disposal of their beloved batteries. Nor do they have a clue as to how inadequate and frail our electrical grid is.

Same here, I was paying 70+ a week and had to stop twice to get gas. Now instead of going to get gas I plug in at night and think nothing more of it. Costs me about 3 bucks a day to go the same distance plugging in at night. Would I drive it cross country? Hell no, but to get to work most of the time it's just fine. If i used the local commercial fast chargers it'd cost nearly the same as gas.

How far can you go on $30 worth of electricity vs $80 worth of gas. That would give everyone a better comparison.

Dang that’s pretty impressive. Why did you get rid of it? My neighbor just bought a Hummer. Things massive.

(Not a day)...that gives you over 400 miles of range...his Ram would cost about 100 for the same range..

When comparing rates of EV to gas you gotta stipulate where and when it's charged. Commercial chargers cost the same or more than gas fillups if you can even find one that works and have the right phone app to make payment.
