That’s what everyone is telling me, unreliable and expensive to maintain. Hell its only got 7000 miles on it. For as much as they cost I have a hard time believing their the POS everyone keeps telling me. Guess I’ll find out 🤣 Just put a tuner on it, it’s sneaky fast

I think I read that BMW is the most expensive luxury car in their class IF you let the dealer maintain it.

I do all my own maintenance so far on my G30 540i and parts are reasonably priced if you don't buy direct from the dealer. Car is fairly easy to work on as well. I did buy a scan tool with OE BMW software on it to help with maintenance items like brakes and clearing/resetting lights.

Not sure about the M5 but can't be rocket science. I do fear a bit that something like an LED headlights goes bad and then I'm out big money trying to replace it.

That M5 is sweet though, have fun with it!

had my first small encounter today in the M5 heading to work. a youngster in his scat pack was dogging me going down the street and we ended up at the light, the light turns green and i can hear his tires squeal as i blast off to about 60 and slow back down. He comes up and gets me to roll my window down and says what the hell. i chuckled and said AWD kid. lol
