I couldn't afford 1 decent car.

My wife got pregnant with my son within our first year of marriage...we put him in a bassinet...and stuffed him behind the seats in that little cubby space....thats where he stayed till he was a year old...man...the things we did early on in our marriage...

All picked up and got in it and realized my exhaust sounded like open headers. I thought I heard an exhaust leak about a month ago but forgot about it. It is so loud it gave me a stupid headache. I have an appointment with Jim at True Street on Monday.

Think it’s an exhaust manifold leak?

Have you visually inspected your exhaust system? Is all of it still there? It is New York after all...did someone come and cut out your cats?

I got on the floor and from what I can see nothing was tampered with. And as far as cats go, you cant steal something thats not there.


I know its loud to begin with but this is at another level. Idk if the exhaust separated somewhere or something cracked

Hellcat turned 9 yrs old today - man how time flies (as does the car). Still looks new except for the CF stripes which are beginning to dull a bit, but that's the nature of the beast. Wanted to take her for a b'day run, but t-storms & rain are spoiling the fun.

True if you don't drive in the winter salt !!

Mine were screwed by the goobers @ the dealership. I could tell they had tried to 'rub out' the water spots from leaving it under a palm tree for 6 weeks, which had compromised the surface. The car was a screaming good deal + on the other side of the state, so I took it knowing I'd need to replace them at some point. I was also mulling removing them entirely and doing something different but decided to just leave them.

I can nurse them along for a while longer, but will have to completely replace them at some point. Will be tricky as replacements will need to be exactly the same size (or larger) as I'm sure the paint under them will be noticeably darker

I NEVER park under any kind of tree...EVER..tree sap can ruin a paint job...especially pine sap..(@ certain times of the year)
