Took it over and actually parked it at a “show” for a couple of hours last night. It was a C&C fundamentally for about 35 cars registered for the Kannonball rally later this month but by the numbers others were also “registered” to show. Lots of BS fart can stuff, but within it was several cool machines that I am sure are going to be on the trip with us.

I’ll show a few pic’s as the event was fairly crowded so we know how that goes. Excuse most of them, this event was nearly smack in the middle of the area I refer to as New Somalia, which is represented by Omar. First pic is like the only one of my machine, I got parked in the “back”. IDK WTF was next to me, but it seemed to get more views, photos, attention etc than anything. I would have torched the bolt-on magnet myself. Them lots of Vipers which surprised me and a few other cool cars were scattered around.

Here in the US I would say not really, I never have in 6+ years and my car runs as great/if not better than ever. I have only ever put Shell or Chevron gas in it since I bought it new though…well and I guess some cans of VP MS109 on occasion ;)

Besides the max file size limit, there are other restrictions on file parameters that change how the image is displayed, that i haven't figured out fully, such as resolution, maybe dimensions as well ?

Also file extensions seem to change displayed behavior too.

Annoying but it's what we got

I bet one thing is if it is a Live Photo or not. I was shooting Live Photos and those are larger too. I’ll try not to post live ones and see if that helps in the future. Because I will have some rally photos to show in a few weeks.

Scrubbed my windshield and noticed all the pitting. So sad it happened. Time for a new windshield I guess that's a maintenance item
I try to just live with it until it catches a pebble.

Happy to report i survived taking all the trunk liner out today, took it to the car wash an sprayed it. Laid it out, an after it dried i got it reinstalled. That was quiet a job!
Was kind of surprised how much the bottom piece weighed. Maybe 8-10 lbs.

I ordered my "18" Demon with rear seat delete...and no trunk mat...it's louder inside than my 16 HC

I think you're underestimating what a car can do in lower temps. For me it's very rare that it's over 40 degrees when I take off in the morning, usually it's in the 30s. And it doesn't get any warmer as I gain altitude.

Of course, coming home it's usually in the 70s.

When road surface temps hit 75+...the car (s)...are much more predictable during hard acceleration then when road is 40...or less

Sure, but many things in life are unpredictable. For me it's easier to predict if traction will be compromised (and what the car will do) than if there's elk on the road around the corner, or if there will be oncoming traffic when passing someone.

I'm not willing to limit my driving to summer afternoons just to have more predictable traction.

Drove her to work and got her dirty. But I did purchase my first item for her after owning for 4 days. Got her the Legmaker intake. Corsa was my first option but they don't have them for the 2015-16

At WM today, did the usual park at the far end of row, maybe 10 spaces from the crowd. Come out, there is a ratty no-badge Charger parked right next to me! Young ‘dude” walking around the 170 taking pics. I open the trunk to load groceries and he says, “Is this your car!”. He points to his HC, (pops the hood to prove it) and says it’s a salvage. (That explains the ill fitted fenders and hood, bumper facia ready to fall off, and the not-even-close color “match”, looked like a backyard repair.) He asks questions rapid fire, I let him talk.

Asks me what I do for work, I say “nothing”. He asks how I can afford it (apparently looking for hints). I say, “first thing you do is, when you are young invest your money instead of pi$$ing it away on things you can’t afford like expensive cars”. He says “I didn’t pay much for it”. (That’s a relief!) He obviously didn’t get my point. Some people will always be broke…

Exercise(d) the full engine RPM range...

Now that it is over 500mi I felt comfortable running it up to 6k in 1,2&3. Wow, it is loud. I read somewhere that they deleted sound insulation in the 170 to save weight. The doors sound like a 1970 Datsun truck when you close them!
